Rahab lied.
When is it appropraiate?
I suppose if its God telling you to do it.
I have had God tell me one night to stay home
from church.I thought I must be hearing voices.
Surely God would not tell me something like that.
What I did not know was that there was a group
of people who planned to grill me in the pastors office as
I was his "trainee" at the time.Flunkie that is.
I was later justified and God took my side.
Thank God for the Holy Ghost.:driving

I have Redhat 7..I think it is. Never installed it. Thinking about it on an old machine just to see what it does.

That is a very OLD software. The installation will need a lot of tweaking. I have 7.1 on a old, old Compaq Armada laptop. I think it was a P166 with 32 Meg of RAM. Workable, but NOT easy.

I wonder if it would be considered a lie to be a licensed minister with the UPCI, sign an AS which when done says you are affirming that you will uphold and teach the articles of faith that the UPCI has, and then have a tv and watch secular entertainment in your home??

BTW DAN, I have read the PM's. ALL that was stated was "Ask Away" and "Just ask already". There was never a "word" given, so there is no lie.

A lie is never "justified"...............

Isn't a lying tongue one of the things God hates?

It would depend. If there was some sort of promise that was contingent upon their fulfilling their end of the bargain--that's not a lie. That's a broken agreement or broken contract.

Let's define lie.
