For Ribs find "THE PATIO"
Italian find "MAGGIANOS" or "GIORDANOS" or "AURELIOS"
True Chicago pizza (no Uno's does not count) GINO'S EAST or LOU MELNATIS
Steak "Chop House" "Gibsons" or any of the Bralizian steak houses
Best hotdogs, "Portillos"
Fun dining experience "Ed Debevits" if you can take joke and sarcasm go there.

If you need a new career you could do restaurant reviews! Wow.

I have relatives in Chicago and visited several times through the years but we ate in the homes of the aunts and uncles.

Bro E, I bet you could do a decent travel guide based on your experiences.:scoregood

I'll be right downtown for several days and would appreciate a few excellent dining recommendations. Nothing cheap. :D Moderate to pricey is good. All cuisines are fair game. :)

Thanks!

There is this hamburger place called "Mc" someting or other. It has a special burger called a "Large Mac" or something like that. Supposed to be fine cuisine. Check it out and report back.:hypercoffee
