Well, we survived it!

My wife and son got home around 10 pm last night when the lockdown was over.

We sustained no damage, thank God, but my heart goes out to the families of the children at the Little Sioux Boy Scout camp..........(4) fatalaties, all 13 to 14 years old.

Multiple injuries, as well..........so, please be in prayer for the families.

Don't we go thru all this flood drama and tornados
Every year ????
I would think you folk that have been raised in those
areas have come to expect this to take place

Lol, YOU are talking about drama?????????????

First, I wasn't raised in this place.

Second, this year is much worse than last year.

Third, no matter how often you go thru it, it's still a very real danger, please don't discount it.

A thunderstorm just popped up here and is moving from east to west which is really weird.

The sun is out where I am at work and it's storming where I live.

Hey Mark,

Guess who's coming to Memphis tomorrow night.

Ricky P whatever his name is - that wild choir director that was here for COGIC. He's doing a choir sing-off or something here this weekend.

Yep. Just heard him being interviewed this morning on the radio - he's already here.

I don't have anyone to go with and it'd be best to not go alone.

We survived with no damage here at our house. However, in Salina, South and North, there was much damage. Our cabinet company, very large was hit terribly and so was Phillips lighting, ya'll probably get your light bulbs from there, was messed up pretty badly. This all happened 10 minutes after we left town.

Thanks for praying. We're all ok, thank the Lord.

Especially when it doesn't rain during the rain season

It doesn't rain here year round - only in the winter

I remember when I lived in Northern California that I missed the rain and I couldn't wait for the winter months to see a drop.

I heard on the radio that our rainfall was about four inches from norm. My garden appreciated the little rain it got this evening. It just seems that we don't get as much rainfall like we did when I was a kid.

For all of California's beauty, I do prefer living in Texas. BTW, it's y'all not you all...:toofunny
