When he vast majority of the forum members have no problem with women wearing pants and cutting their hair... its obviously not an Apostolic forum. You can tell the "character" of a forum by the administrators and owners (bill payers) of a forum. What do they believe? There is a whole, whole lot more to being Oneness Apostolic Pentecostal then Acts 2:38.

my 2 cents.

No, but you totally think you're better than anyone who shows a milligram of consecration.

In my 41 years, I have learned that people like you (who don't go to church because you can't find one worthy of your presence) are always the ones who want to critique those of us who are actually contributing to something bigger than our flesh.

Hey Dedicated, go build something.:thumbsup

Do you still feel God talking to you about getting right, DM?

I don't go to church because of poor health not by choice. But I must admit I have very little faith left in organized religion or in prayer.

And you need a place to publish the photo's of the upcoming Hoover!

Ok, didn't mean to take the thread in a girly/feminine direction. :)

If you don't have faith in prayer then you don't have faith in the God of the Bible. :sad

Why not?

Now all we need is PO and Ron to take over.

Tim my wife is a long hair skirt wearin Apostolic Christian.

I shun skirts, television and long hair... go to a UPC church, hate birth control, and don't smoke dope.

What else do you want from me??

In order for this forum to be accurate to its name, seems you technically only need one universally accepted Apostolic, and for that Apostolic to have some friends. I propose that Apostolic be Steve Epley.

Ergo, (the newly legitimate) Apostolic Friends Forum.

So those of us who love passionate debate just need to yank the conversation back on track.

Nothing gets my adrenaline flowing like a good discussion with real points, backed up by Scripture. Or genuine honest questions. :)

I have faith in God, what I don't believe is people who say God has talked to them.

Especially when it is all tempered with some good natured humor! :thumbsup

With all due respect, this forum is not simply geared for passionate debate and serious theological submissions. Those who prefer a light hearted banter and chit-chat with friends of like faith are welcome, and a valuable part of who we are here. That is why we have subforums and "rooms" that are geared to various styles of interaction.

Any good apostolic Friends out there have a "Vaculator"?

Sounds like something a mortician would use.

LOL! Looking for an Apostolic Vintage Vaculator... prefer one with some copper trim.

This device perks a great cup of coffee (or tea) and greatly promotes the love of the brethren.

Now that REALLY looks like something a mortician would use. Either a mortician or "Dr Giggles".

I think Cory manufactured one in 1950 that had a chrome and copper trim.

Dr Giggles is the name of, and a character in, a horror (slasher type) movie from about 12-15 years ago. He was a doctor who..... well, you can imagine the rest.

At this particular time I was doing things far worse then.... Oh well, I better just stop there.

Although we DID just get in "The Hero And the Terror" from Netflix. It is a slasher film in its own right except in this case, instead of the "hero" being screaming teenage girl, it is Chuck Norris.

I don't even know what a VACULATOR IS!!! My coffee was prepared in a plain old pot, and I made it so strong this morning we could barely drink it! :D I put 1/2 pot of water, and then forgot and added a whole pot's worth of coffee.

At least I grind my own beans.

Well, this time it's MEN who are talking about inconsequential things like VACULATORS, so you shouldn't keep blaming the "feminine" side of the forum. :foottap

I still don't know what a Vaculator is. Is is an item I can loot in Mafia Wars?
