My pastor knows... he just says he isn't technically inclined enough to know how to get online and participate here. I wish he would participate. He could liven things up around here, don't ya think? :D

Back on topic...we have one. It's great.

Shows how inconspicuous this service (ATM) can be. I never noticed when I was there.

It's a debit machine .. not a full-size ATM.

Just perfect for you then, since you're not full size. :poloroid

I am only in favor of ATMs in churches if they are adjacent to espresso joints, like Starbucks.

chseeads 08-07-2007 12:21 PM

Just know her from another forum where I have been known to enjoy giving her grief. :D

Helps with those after service pizza excursions!

Although, ATM's were more in use in Canada than in the US when I was last there (2000)

Just home from Canada. Many places there will no longer accept local checks.

It is not so far fetched of an idea. You have to have receipts for most donations beginning in 2007, and some church giving increased 18%.

Would you use an ATM at church?

Click here for the full story.

Why not just give ushers a card reader? Hey, with the new cards this will become even easier

Part of the drive for a cashless society and a North American Union like the EU.

Why no checks? To unify us all under a common currency and to require us all to get ID cards. Probably they want us to get used to swiping a card rather than writting out a check. Then when that happens and our cards are constantly being stolen or the numbers are used over the interent or someone is getting credit cards in our names, they will introduce something more like biometric systems or implanted chips.
