If there were a forum back then there would be people railing on him too.

Also note that I added a little bit to the post you quoted.

We have some on here that do not attend any church period. (but very few, I think)
Some are agnostics. (only one, I think)
Some attend Trinitarian churches. (yes, a few)
Some believe in Universalism. (only one or two?)
Some defend sprinkling as baptism. (only one or two?)
Some think it doesn't matter what is said at baptism. (a few, yes)
Some believe salvation is faith alone plus nothing. (they believe salvation must be followed by obedience)
Some believe Jesus is a created being. (don't know about this one)
I was just attempting to ask if the original preface had changed?

And now the administration has confirmed everything has remained the same. Thank you.

This certainly isn't a toe-the-line forum, but I think that's what makes it interesting. :)

Maybe we can clear this up by stating that the name of this forum ISN'T ONLY Apostolics Friends Forum.

There ya go. "nuff said.

It is considered a bad thing if you allow association with anyone who doesn't believe like oneself.

I'm not sure where outreach comes into play.

I've always worried when someone says they can't "associate" with someone not like them. Just how strong are their beliefs anyway if they can't withstand a little opposition? Iron sharpens iron we've always heard.

How can you be a light if you aren't in the dark sometimes?

I find it interesting that Jesus didn't spend his time only hanging out with the religious people. Today, we're often scared to death to hang out with anyone who doesn't believe exactly like us. They might corrupt us.

Exactly, a light in a lighted room doesn't create much of a difference in that room. Now put that same light in a dark room and what a difference it makes.

Actually, sometimes I argue for or against something just because there are reasons that other people believe the way they do-not because I believe that way. I figure that sometimes others do this as well. And just because someone else has a different opinion doesn't mean I will change mine... sometimes it makes me think and establish where I do stand more firmly.

If I knew of a "toe the line" forum I'd probably visit that one occassionally, too.

I think the realization you are working under is stated in the Bible something like this... we battle not against flesh and blood.

When will people realize that it isn't the person that we are fighting against.

People are against...

Preterists... ISTS... that means people. Be against preterism if you want to... but love preterISTS.

Same goes for...

Baptists
Methodists
Pentecostals
Dispensationalists

Hold on to your Holy Ghost now...

Even...

Athiests
Muslims
Zionists

Fight error... stand for truth... but never forget that your target is not allowed to be people.
