My reasons for going we two-fold: nostalgia, and to see for myself how I felt about it all.

I was happy to see Marietta, Dave & Bonita.

I had difficulty getting members of my family to go for the same reason you want to throw up. I have years of experience detaching the person from the behaviors so I can retain an objective viewpoint.

There is always conflict in my mind and emotions regarding such things. I am just glad to not be God and have to sort it all out and make a judgement.

I have some experience around someone such as LW... and the thing that poses the problem (even in the repentant) is that there are usually some really messed up people because of that person's type of sin and failure.

God does forgive all who call on him but when there are people who were used or abused, those people are often never the same. And the apology should go further than just the Lord... People who are in positions of authority, or people who want to continue a public ministry... should repent openly.


Just my opinion.. but I must say I do not know LW personally, nor anyone touched by his mistakes personally.

I do know others though.. who've messed people up royally and have not repented but continue in their public "ministry". But God will reckon them.

What I sent Mark was actually about 20 or so- 15 sec videos with sound. I have maybe 100 or so actual pics on digital camera. Will try and get some to you and Mark later today. :-)

How can you be objective without taking a person's actions into account? Aren't actions an indicator of what's in the heart and mind? Where do a person's action originate?
