Not sure. I would like to come down to Texas soon, but she isn't even hardly settled, and she's living with three other girls right now, so I would definitely have to get a hotel. I will probably get down before too long though. I would like to see Teen Mania Ministries and tour the facilities.

Then there is that other side of me that just wants to smack him. Oh well....:thwak

As far as his music ability, I have a lot of respect... you just can't deny his talent and what it brought to the UPC in general.

I haven't read the whole thread and don't have the time...but I remember at the JCM reunion when the original trio sang in Nashville.... it was awesome.

My mind was not on what LW had done.. you know, I hope he is repentive.. but when Marietta stepped out to sing that night.. wow, you could just feel the presense of God so strongly in that place. I could have found myself a corner and bawled like a baby... I did enough bawling as it was. I could have stayed a few more hours and listened to them sing..

If I lived closer, I would have been at the concert on the 26th.. just to experience it again... lol

Marietta was anointed, even more so than she ever was. Her face shown with the glory of the Lord and she worshipped, praised, and danced before the Lord. She flew in by herself, but she had many members of her family there to see and visit with her.

Dave Peterson and his wife Bonita worshipped and praised and Dave even danced before the Lord. It was good to see them.

Lanny was Lanny and he entertained and patted himself on the back quite a bit.

My thoughts: I am sorry that the Apostolics could not truly accept and invite the trio into their midst. Grace and mercy is reserved for the AOG, and other denominations. There were a few of us there and I sat there thinking... I wish the spirit and worship with the old songs we cut our teeth on could be delivered in our churches. Unfortunately we have no room for error, sin, or second chances within our ranks. How unlike Jesus this truly is.

The song...Family of God was sung and bittersweet to me. I think Marietta testified and preached in a very mature manner. The things she has been through has prepared her for the ministry that she is in now. I just bet she is a woman of God filled with passion, compassion, mercy and forgiveness. He face shown with the anointing of one who truly knows and understands.

Blessings, Rhoni

I sure wish they would come to the southern Illinois area so I could go see them. I am sure what you say is true and if I could go see and hear them myself and feel in the spirit that they it would be the will of God, I would try to have them regardless of what everyone else says. In our area, there are apostolic churches all over and I am sure that the good apostolic brethren would be concerned about my soul if I had someone like Lanny Wolfe at my church. Oh, well that is why I am the pastor of my church and not them. By the way, I am apostolic to the bone. The main problem would be, my church would be way too small for the crowd of non-apostolics that would be there.

The young people in my church were very proud to still be going to JCM until the day the doors closed.. It was not ALL about LW... If thats what someones reason for going to Bible school is they need to rethink why they are there...

I attended a church of 1200 in WI. No one had gone to JCM in 15 years.

Many went from 1978-1988.

The message was out loud and clear...
