There sure are a lot of preachers out there who went to JCM! I think you have bought into the stereotype and are willing to do so because you felt your dad was not done right there.

JCM was known for it's music program in its heyday but plenty of preachers came out of there that are pastoring today. Many of them quite successfully both in and out of the UPC.

My pastor graduated in the early 80's.

Name some successful ministers after 1995.

The group of music ministers and ministers will never equal the years from 1975-1985.

You have it all wrong with my dad's situation.

It was his knowledge of X and things getting looked over.

That is the reason "he" left.

The rest will be left in the past and in the mind of God.

It is so wrong to preach such a hardlined message of purity and holiness.

Hold onto the idols of misguided messages.

Then find it so easy to wash hands of real biblical sins.

It is those men that I find insulting to the cause and the ministry of the Apostoic church.

Well apparently you and yours had issues... however some people are able to let the past be the past.. not hold onto what so n so did to my dad 40 yrs ago yada yada and move on! For God sake.. those kids who went there 2 yrs ago dont give a flip what happened... they are there for a reason... it had nothing to do with LW either so get over yourself and whatever pitty party you are having about it and realize that some people actually enjoyed the place and learned from it and gained some things in life.. You have a sour ideal of it in your head and in your eyes nothing can come good of it.. well I happen to know many wonderful young men and women who have come out of JCM in the last 5 yrs who are doing wonderful things for the kingdom and not having to hang on to daddys shirttale to do it!

Furthermore ... you would have been the one to tell Jesus no good thing come out of Nazereth either... how could He be a prophet???

Nathan... get over yourself! You are so wrong.. you have absolutely no clue... How many do you actually know who went to JCM in the last 10 yrs??? Or even from 2000 to the end??? Tell me.. name me some names?? I happen to know many because thats around the time my hubby and many of our friends went... many are wonderful preachers... teachers... missionaries... yea name some? Let me see how many you can come up with who have gone no where? Its getting very old. Its apparent you were warped when you were there and you are bitter... Get over it!! Deal with it!!! Now let it go...

Oh and one more thing??? Did you ever actually go to JCM?? Or are your accounts just these of oh my dad was done wrong??? If so I suggest you hold your speakings until you know exactly what it is you speak of... because if I remember right you actually said you really didnt know what all went on you just knew it was bad... so you base everything and everyone on a feeling? Get a life! Thats bearing false witness.

I do not re-write history nor look past the truth.

This same man from Nazareth you speak of was also called the truth.

I find that many who go along for the show.

Do that they go along for the show.

There is plenty good that came from JCM.

Many of which no longer are in the organization.

My pastor and his wife are graduates of JCM.

My issue is not with any issues surrounding my family.

We moved to Ft Worth Texas to be with Mark Hanby after leaving.

My dad's travels were not hindered in anyway.

He preached 50 of 52 weeks in 1976 without being a pastor.

There is no healing needed in my past.

I do know a slew of folks that do need healing....
