Apparently you do.. you need to get past the old and start living in the now... this is your life.. not your dads.. God rest his soul I am sure he was a wonderful man but you are appearing so bitter and for things that happened to him?? Nathan... I do respect you as a person but you are assuming everything that JCM touched was evil because this happened.. Nope.. wonderful men and women have come out of there to this day... There is a very powerful young man working at TBC right now.. He could preach the socks off of most of the men from your day... he is very anointed.. where did he come from? JCM.. many many more I could name... its not all bad.. many of the staff that left.. are at TBC now.. they are still working for the Lord.. the students.. preaching pastoring teaching missionaries... doing wonderful things.. these are just students from the past 5 yrs... wake up its a good place with good people.. bad things happened in the past.. you know what.. we all have been in those places.. guess what? I once went to a church that had these exact same things happen within its walls.. yep hurt a lot of people.. that church ended up being 10 yrs later one of the fastest growing churches in that state.. with hundreds upon hundreds filled with the holy ghost in one year... yep God still moved there just like at JCM just like anywhere else these things happen.. the thing is.. God uses broken things.. Go on and let him use you just let him do it without the bitterness... just like he uses all these other kids who went to JCM who could live under the cloud of what did happen.. but they chose to live by WHAT IS GOING TO HAPPEN!!! God is sending revival to them in ways you could never imagine!

You know the answer to that.. the only reunion they didnt show up at was because.. well.. unfortunately there was a major pastor backlash and pastors were telling them not to go because it was not an organizational thing and they were actually being obedient... Very simple.. and I could name names.. but I would only do that in private as they are friends a majority of them and I do not plant names on an open forum for the whole world to view.. and another reason.. the 30 somethings are a lot busier in some cases than the 50 somethings with revivals and planting churches and growing churches and being missionaries... Not that one ministry supercedes another.. its just that grandpa can come see you at his ease easier than dad can sometimes... ya get the idea? :)

My wife attended in 1985.

She left after 1 year.

Some of the girls in the dorms had liter bottles of beer in their dorm rooms.

The rest will go unmentioned.

The legend of JCM is not a urban legend.

My wife's bother attended as did her sister in law.

Mike Taylor and Teresa Wright-Talor. Chester Wrights sister.

My wife's cousin's Lori Lewis-Corrothers, Nancy Lewis and Shelly Lewis also attended.

My brothes wife Sandra Lamb-Eckstadt also attended JCM in the early 80's.


My pastor and his wife also attend and graduated from JCM.

And countless friends.

Finally some good men stood up. It had less to do with organizational issues and more to do with association issues.

I know several who were at the reunions (family)

Well good for you... do you think just maybe.. things could have possibly changed.. and I too would be careful stating things you did not see for yourself on an open forum.. and yes... we all KNOW who you are related to by now ok... we ALLLLLLLLLL know..

I have moved on. I have started ministering. What bitternes could I possibly have? My dad lived and died with his spiritual integrity, he had faith in God past friend, or ministerial association.

He took the time to call TLC and others a few months before he died to make clear situations.

Then act as if you have moved on.. quit bashing everything and anything good that might ever have possibly come out of JCM and realize you and your family arent the only people on the face of the earth who existed there and that some peoples lives were actually touched by the place and get a life.. you havent moved on or you would let it alone..

I am sorry that you were scarred spiritually as a child by this. But please. Stop creating another generation of maimed babies. Put the rocks down!

If you continue to bash JCM how many souls are you going to have to call when you are on your dying bed to make situations right for the ones you have hurt? Do you think by any stretch of the imagination you could be wrong and God could have let some good things come out of there? Lord have mercy you seriously need help! That tree was pruned, fertilized and regrafted.

The other events were spoken to my mom by my dad.

Case closed.

Bill Clinton will always get a pass for infidelity because the economy was great during his 8 years.

Well substitude the names and you would be shameless to know in your own world you are the Bill Clinton backer....

No... I dont need to drop names to get around in life.. I can live off of my own very well... and if I did need help... well I have some mighty big names I can draw off of myself. I just chose not to drop them every other sentence

The only thing worth going crazy over because none of your family name means a thing to me is the fact that some get tired of hearing you drop names every other sentence.. its old.. make a name for yourself.. better yet.. Lift up and live out Jesus name!
