Yeah in John's day there were many Anti-Christs and that spirit is alive and well,and anybody that denys the divinity of Christ is an Anti-Christ.
Anybody ever read 1.and 2 John ?

Yes, yes. I know about all your doctrinal/eschatalogical position on this.

But the term does not have to be limited to those 2 contexts. As the scripture says "there are many antichrists".

The term "antichrist" can still be used regarding anyone who is anti Christ (that is, against Christ). Thus, the man of sin can correctly be called an antichrist. To call him an antichrist (or even The Antichrist, as many do) is not a contradiction of the 1 John and 2 John passages.
