Re: Are You Guilty Of Forwarding This Email?
Yeah in John's day there were many Anti-Christs and that spirit is alive and well, and anybody that denys the divinity of Christ is an Anti-Christ.
Anybody ever read 1.and 2 John ? |
Re: Are You Guilty Of Forwarding This Email?
Little children it is the last time:and as ye have heard that Anti-Christ shall come, even now there are many Anti-Christs;whereby we know it is the last time.1 JOHN 2:18 Poor John I guess he never owned a Scofield Bible poor chap.

And every spirit that confesseth not that Jesus Christ is come in the flesh:and this is that Spirit of AntiChrist, whereof ye have heard that it is should come;and even now already is it in the world.1 JOHN 4:3 Now John Clarence Larkin said that is there one Anti-Christ to come, you know that cause the seminary says so.

Quote:
But the term does not have to be limited to those 2 contexts. As the scripture says "there are many antichrists". The term "antichrist" can still be used regarding anyone who is anti Christ (that is, against Christ). Thus, the man of sin can correctly be called an antichrist. To call him an antichrist (or even The Antichrist, as many do) is not a contradiction of the 1 John and 2 John passages. |
