Re: WPF church back on the offensive?
I know quite a few UPC churches that are stricter than some WPF churches...I personally believe we can believe what we want to believe where ever we are...but that is just the opinion of an old lady...and I sure am not political...
The REAL CHURCH is not concerned about cards... it is concerned about a lost world... |

Re: WPF church back on the offensive?
Watched Tuesday and Wednesday Rhema word on the blog.
One huge point to make (correct): "shew forth" or "show forth" is not talking about strutting your stuff. It literally means "proclaim" or "tell." Another reason people need to put down the KJV. |

Re: WPF church back on the offensive?
We as the church are beautiful. That's not because my sister or brother is attractive or not. Every part of our life is important to the point of maturity toward the believer.
One thing most believe is that every part of us is significant, including how we dress, live, act, talk. But not because of made-up laws, because of Christian maturity. How he chooses to build on that is another thing. |

Tuned in today. Tempted to disagree quickly, but actually can accept much of what he said today. I think he's stacking the deck here though to really build his case that the physical, literal body of the believer has significance equal to soul winning and salvation. Paul talked about the sanctity of the body in the context of fornication and adultery. They borrow his lines to prop long sleeves and no colored tights.

Socialite, I agree about the 'show forth' thing.
