Nobody says I wasn't... I recognize the grace and mercy of God on my life, but that does not change the fact that their actions are foolish. I had to learn that the lifestyle I was living was a foolish way of thinking and living before I turned away from it. I'm not going to sugar-coat sin, it's foolish when I sin it's foolish when you sin. Thank God we have an opportunity at deliverance through the power of the Holy Ghost.

Ya, actual accountability? What are you thinking, T2W? :lol

Accountability: if you want to know where your money is going then ask. If you can't trust your pastor with your money, don't give it to him. Personal responsibility. Government shouldn't be involved in the finances of churches and what pastors do with money, period.

Which government? The Church government or the IRS?

The difference is, you won't go to jail for not paying a church government. It's your personal choice to them every dime you pay them directly. Therefore it's your responsibility to make sure your money is used wisely.

aren't tax exemptions for churches "an establishment of religion"?

Wadr, says you. I think the two were meant for each other, for the most part.

Ha, sure, you can say that. Who can know God? So someone who says they love God doesn't really know God, either, is the thing.
