A few friends who follow Baxter and other end time people are saying the next pope is the anti-christ. I thought that was supposed to be Gorbechev, with the mark on his forehead and everything.

I dont think the Catholic Church is particularly relevant to end time prophecy. Now it HAS played a big role in things past but I doubt the Pope is going to be a major player in the beast end time system.
