I'm visiting my daughter in the Denver area and just took a break at the local Panera's so I could go online.

It's currently sunny and in the 60's. A few more days of vacation and then back to work.:girlytantrum

Today is my last day home on medical leave......so I plan to make the most of it.

I'm making a nice breakfast to enjoy while watching The Today Show.

Then I will do some more wedding stuff for my daughter (which I've been able to do a lot while off).

I'm also making her a recipe book of all her favorite recipes of mine and her grandmothers, so I'll be writing out more of those.

It's raining, so it's a perfect day to stay in and get some things done.

Tomorrow I'm going to Jonesboro for the weekend. My niece is graduating college and we're having a party for her and my daughter and her fiancé will be there too!

Are you going back to work Monday? Jon is still off. I don't know when he'll be able to go back. His insurance and disability pay runs out May 26, but the doctor is not ready to release him back to work. I'm really not sure what we're going to do at this point.

A lot of changes at work since you've been gone. Make the most of your weekend!

Yes - so I've heard.

I'm doing a bit of pre-shopping for a gas cooktop.

Anyone have any suggestions of brand? BTUs? Grate material?

Am thinking of a 36-inch, maybe 5 burner. Would love to have a griddle accessory.

Right now I'm sorting coupons, and making my shopping list for tomorrow. My inlaws will be here this weekend, so I'll be finishing up some housecleaning this afternoon.

Where do they live, Tina?

Maggie and I have been sitting outside enjoying the nice weather and soaking up my last day home!

The funny part is I got up to come in and she just kept sitting there, which is very unlike her (she's my shadow). Finally, she came on in and kept going to the door ringing her bell to go out - so I got the camera and went back out to sit with her for a bit.

When I got up, she just sit there like, how in the world can you not want to stay here and I was able to get a couple good pics of her.

She's been a lot of company for me these two months at home. She's going to miss me when I go back to work Monday!

Renda, FWIW, I dislocated my knee a few days ago! It was the first time in about eight years. Someone mentioned that I should get a knee replacement and I thought of you and all the trouble you've been through and said "Nahhhh"! :toofunny

I was in so much pain that I hyper ventilated! I started shivering like I was freezing cold!

Well, there might come a point that you won't have an option.

It's been tough, but I bet you could make it!

I love your porch!! That is my one goal (carnal goal, that is) in life, I always say that before I die, I am going to live in a house with a front porch!

It is nice - I'm in an apt., but I love it! It's just like a little house.

Her place doesn't even resemble a normal apartment; it's an awesome home. It feels just like you're in a nice house. I love it! It feels really safe and friendly in that neighborhood.

That would work for me! I don't necessarily want a big house to maintain, who has the time? But just something with a porch!

I live in a mobile home, and they just added a new section to the park that I live in. There are the most adorable new mobile homes in there that have porches, they almost look like beach bungalows.

I ride my bike at night, and I keep going up and down those streets, dreaming (pipe dreams) of having one of them. :tissue

You and Jon may not know, but what a comfort it is to know that the Lord does know. And because you have placed your confidence in Him, He will not let you down.

As a loving and wise Heavenly Father, He comes through with answers and provision right when needed. He speaks peace and sends sunshine in the midst of a storm. He shows up at the right time and often in ways we least expect.

Who wouldn't serve a God like this?! :bliss

Well, today is another cooking day...my youngest brother and his tribe are coming over tonight.

I just came in from the Farmer's Market...I love going when hardly anyone else is there. Picked up some tomatoes and Peaches & Cream corn.

Along with that I'm making red skinned potato salad, broccoli cole slaw, mac salad, and grill Johnsonville stadium brats, and barbequed polish sausage.

I thought about grilling chicken, too, but I did chicken last Saturday...just don't feel like chicken today.

Mom and I are going to water aerobics at the local gym this morning. We are enjoying the exercise and the water.

Have some paperwork to wrap up for Kansas licensure and I 'll be sitting for dual licensure boards for Marriage & Family in September.

Going to a movie tonight with a friend...then

Tomorrow morning off to hostess/greet at my church for our Mother's Day service. I heard we were having a special speaker and I just bet it is the first lady of our church. I can't wait to hear her speak.

Off to begin my day.

Love & Blessings, Rhoni
