Oh, no, you had to ask. I will be crucified now. The Pentecostal preacher I spoke of was of the Church of God (Cleveland, Tennesee) variety. Haitian Church of God Overseer Dr. Elysee Joseph. He had just met some elderly COG former missionaries at the airport who were there for a COG convention. Bro Joseph and killed in the car he was driving. The missionaries, Lloyd Frazier and Lovell and Virginia Cary, are now safe at home in Tennessee.

Our prayers go out to them and to the family of Brother Elysee Joseph.

I'm sorry to hear it. I hope you won't be crucified for saying it. It is sad anytime someone who was trying to work in the name of Jesus dies, no matter what shingle they hung above their door. God knows every sparrow that falls-surely He would want us to pray for this man's family as much as anyone else's.

Seriously... the following should be posted in BIG LETTERS at the beginning, in the middle and at the end of EVERY religious program on radio, TV and the Net:

"The views and opinions expressed by the host and/or guest of this program are their OWN views and opinions and are not necessarily shared and/or endorsed by the Christian world in general."

Mmmmm... "Apostolical" The United Apostolical Church. Sounds good.

I likey ... I'm an Apostolical.

Saying mean judgmental things is common it seems. So many so called prophets jumped on the judge the people in La by Katrina issue or the stuff that happens in Florida. They forget the Bible says it rains on the just and the unjust. The just have an umbrella of protection called Jesus that they can use in times of need. What a shame for the hurtful statements of those who claim spirituality yet act carnal in heart matters.

What about the Pentecostal preacher that died there- who was there feeding and caring for the hungry and poor- whats God gonna say to them..."Opps...my bad!". What about the 18 or 20 Americans (or more) that died there (and those of other nations who didn't make a pact with the devil)? God was mad at them for just being there? ("Sorry, wrong place, wrong time!")

The earthquake happened because of earths natural laws. Period. Plate tetonics. (NOTE to Pat Robertson.... quit blaming God for what happens in nature. And Pat, if you ask for one dime to send to Haiti, you are a hypocrite of the highest order!)
Earths natural laws? God does not get involved with the peoples of the nations? That flies against a great deal of whats written in scripture. God takes credit for many great disasters in scripture. That does not mean its always judgment. But its foundational to YHWH that he being sovereign can do as he pleases with the nations.

The Haitians of today apparently never made a pact with satan. However if it be true as is being reported that over 50% of them practice voodo it does not matter what people did many years ago. Its what they are doing now thats important to YHWH.

Does saying this make one mean and judgmental? Or is it said to keep our eyes opened to the truths in scripture? Can one accept its principals and still have compassion and love? Read the books of the Prophets sometime. Im sure in their time the masses thought of them as mean and judgmental even while their hearts were breaking for the situations of their day.

On the other hand it seems that many who are denying the Almighty YHWH actually plays a role in human affairs in our generation can appear to be pretty mean and judgmental themselves. If you dont believe me read through this thread and you will see.

I have a praise report.

I spoke to one of the Brothers two days ago and he told me that they still hadn't found his brother. I told the Brother, that we are going to pray and that everything would turn out fine. Today, he told me that they found his brother. Shouting, and jumping took place. :)

Right after xmas, I told a Sister that the Lord is going to be looking out for her and see would get a blessing. Pretty vague kind of thing to say, I thought to myself, but I usually don't blurt that kind of stuff out. So, I kept praying. Early yesterday morning she reminded me of what I said to her.
She was so excited, and she said she got the blessing. Down in Haiti her mother, sister, and daughter, had a building collapsed on them. Yet, they were found in perfect health.

Praise the name of Jesus!

Please pray for the Apostolic Brothers and Sisters from the United States who have gone down there to help.

Pray for Brother Mark Hattabaugh and the team of ministers who went down to Haiti to help.

Jesus is good all the time.

In Jesus name

Brother Benincasa

EB that is a great praise report!

Locally, there was a couple that had adopted a Haitian child and it was had been in process for over a year. He flew to Haiti and returned last night with her in his arms.

Praise God for all three testimonies. I pray that there are more of these today-that more people are found, that more families both united and reunited...

Just read your post... Lol. You said "Apostolic friends forum is Apostolic Forum..." But you left out the "friends" part. Seems you're right. The attacks I've seen on people were not friendly.. And after they were given explanations that totally revealed the truth... Instead of apologizing... And repenting... They just went on to other people and other attacks. Maybe we should take the"Friends" part out. No one ever contacted my friend who was vilified mercilessly here and no one made it right. Hmmm. Maybe we should take out the word "Apostolic" too.
