Jesus came in "70 weeks".....Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity.....

Then the church age started, which is a PRE-MILLENNIAL experience!!!(gap starts)

The end of the verse... and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy....is yet to happen upon the 2nd coming of Christ.

Are there more than 70 weeks? Those that teach this gap theory place the gap in between weeks 69 and 70.

You're bad at your eschatology.

I must have posted this more times than I care to remember, but your so-called (Search for Truth) Bible studies must be virtual gladiator school. You start popping off with your angry meltdowns and the chart goes flying! Chairs flipped backwards, Triple Venti White Mocha splashed across a college student's NIV study Bible. Young man runs for the door after you smack him with the chart, because he asked you why 70 A.D. is in your charts, followed with the statement "excuse me sir but isn't Matthew 24 fulfilled?" All this while you are screaming at the top of your lungs because you can't get WIFI to have your Pastor, Brother Google to give you the answers you so desperately need. :laffatu

Here I thought you were a literalist, in the reading of scripture. Read the verse again Sean, as always you are adding to the verse something not in the passage. THERE IS NO GAP!!!

All six points in verse 9 are to happen within the 70 weeks. THERE IS NO GAP!!!

So please try again, And while you are at it, tell me again when the supposed gap started. Because the church was first established with only Jews, and the Gentiles were added to the church. So again when did this gap start?

Loren, I am trying to tell you that the passage is covering the entire church age, into the Millienial.

Do you actually think that the world is everlastingly righteous?("and to bring in everlasting righteousness")

Loren, it is not even "hypothetically" righteous.

If you think that the Lord is simply, slowly but surely working on it, then He is slow as molasses.(2000 years of less righteousness)

Where does the verse say that the whole world is righteous?

Hence is the point. Sean. If the scripture does not fit YOUR thinking YOU change the meaning THAT IS FUTURISM.

The verse very clearly states all 6 things will come to pass within 70 weeks. There is not one word that remotely suggest a 2000 year gap anywhere in the passage.

Futurist instead of finding what is meant by "everlasting righteousness" would much rather say the word lies, and make a Gap between point a and point b.

YOU ARE NOT READING THE VERSE, SEAN, READ THE VERSE WITHOUT YOUR PRECONCIEVED MIND SET!

It does not matter what you or I think the verse should say, it is what the verse says that is important.

Prove it. Don't just tell it.
Show us the reasons.

The point is Loren, the world is NOT righteous, and the Lord has had 2000 years to spread righteousness as it spirals out of control from spiritual to carnal unrighteousness.

Doesn't that make you wonder?

Is being a preterist that big a deal to you to, override reality?

With this in mind, you are not defending your preconcieved opinion of scripture to defend preterism?

I just look at world events and society and realize how satanic and sin sick our world is getting when I read the verse.

Either the Word of God lied to us, or the King of Righteousness has not returned yet.

There is no other explanation for this verse Loren....the everlasting righteousness is clearly unnoticeable in our world. The world is becoming more Godless and wicked by the day.

Jesus must return as the hundreds of passages declare to BRING IN everlasting righteousness......IMMEDIATELY!

The cross brought it in. It's talking about what the cross did.
