Thats what Barry Bonds got indicted for (perjury/obstruction of justice). And Clemens could face the same thing if he lies under oath to Congress or to Federal investigators.

As the saying goes... sometimes the cover-up is worse than the crime.

Exactly! Either Clemons or the trainer are going to get nailed for lying to congress. Not the use of steroids themselves.

I also believed Mark McGwire when he lied to Congress and said "I'm not here to talk about the past."

There is a bunch of 'em in it up to their hips right now.

I believe they were pushed into it to keep competitive. It's a mess, but I'm still against dragging a few through it. I suppose it needs to start with a few, as way of example, but they need to domino the whole thing.

And I believed Rafael Palmero when he pointed his finger at Congress and said, " I Have never taken steroids, period."

He tested positive less than six months later.

LOL

I don't believe the Congress needs to be involved in sports.

...

You got it, TR!!!

Just heard this morning that McName sent his physical evidence to the Congressional committee today, i.e., canceled checks, etc.

I tend to believe it's FRAUDger Clemens...

... now think "we should give Roger Clemens the benefit of the doubt" (?!)

Why is that?

...

Real easy...

1. No significant change in physical appearance after alleged use of substances

2. No significant change in performance after alleged use of substances

3. No written documentation of the alleged substance abuse which existed in the other cases referenced

4. Continued superior performance long after the alleged use of substances

I would say in a war of their word, I would believe The Rocket over this creep McNamee any day!
