Wow. This earthquake was felt in Il, IN, MO, KY, and OH. That is a very wide area. One can only imagine the widespread damage we would be dealing with if this earthquake had been stronger. Nothing around here is built to be earthquake proof.

There are a lot of really old houses around here. I hope no one has been injured. I turned my scanner on and will keep y'all posted.

I was yelling at my little doggie this morning around 4:30AM.

He was barking away in my sons room.

Come to find out we had minor shaking from the quake her in Milwaukee.

Animals sure have great senses..

My wifeis down at St Louis visiting our daughter. they said woke them up with the book cases rocking and banging agains the wall.

The closed one bridge in St Lois (Kings Highway) due to concrete falling.

People here on the Iowa border to Davenport reported it woke them.

I didn't notice it at all, unless it was'nt just my bladder that woke me at @ 4:30this morning.

They did determine that the concrete fallen on Kingshighway wasn't from the earthquake and re-opened it.

I didn't even know we HAD an earthquake until I got to work and was told about it. I was awake and didn't feel shaking and/or quaking. Neither did the elderly sister from our church that lives down the street. We are in DOWNTOWN Madisonville KY. Those on the outskirts, including my son, said they were "rockin' and rollin'!"

Beth in KY

My B-I-L has a dairy and had an incident yesterday PM when all the cows were acting real strange. After several went through several fences - he commented to my sister that he has heard they act like this if there is an earthquake coming! Well they were right!

I slept throught it but my husband was up getting ready for work and felt it. He didn't know what it was until he turned on the TV. We live in Northern Indiana.

No way! and I missed it..... Seriously, I am glad it wasn't that serious...... Many of my friends are there,...... Thank God it was a minor one.... I heard about it on the radio today.... It is shocking, though... I had never experienced one there....

Sister, this is actually my second earthquake. I lived through one much bigger than this one when I lived in CA. It was either in 88 or 89 I think. In that one I thought the house was going to collapse and fall on me.
