I've asked you that before, haven't I? Sorry about that. I hope to become a truck driver someday. I am thinking it will become one once my kids are all 18 or older. Can't wait to get into one of them big rigs and see the country. If I can figure out a way to pull it off, I hope to take the wifey poo with me. That would be fun.

Let me give you some freindly advise. DON'T! A better way to see the country and get paid for it would be to start out in a one ton crew cab pickup and started delivering fith wheel camp trailers to dealerships. The problem with a big truck is even though you get to see the country, you don't get to "see" the country. If you're in a smaller truck you can actually see more at times. After you've made enough to pay for a bigger vehicle concider a specialty truck. Basicly a smaller big truck that is set up like a motorhome yet still has a fith wheel hitch on the back. The best truck for this would have little more that bed, bath, kitchen and waredrobe. This will give you the best of both worlds, you have a small home and you can make money with it. All the while visiting places where motorhomes are allowed (which is alot more places than big trucks) This is what I plan on doing in (hopefully early) retirement.

I've thought about the fifth wheel delivery thing too. I could get one of them nice Dodge dually diesels and off I'd go. :happydance I don't even know where to find companies that do that though. Do you know of any?

They are all around you. Indiana is in a hotbed of companies that do that. Right off hand I can think of Star as one company. Just go to your local RV dealer and ask them about the companies that delivers their trailers. They will most likely be happy to help you get you in touch with a few companies that deliver to them.

It would save her a lot of work.

If you helped dirty the house, you need to help clean it. I don't suppose you help spend the money your wife brings home. I have always helped clean house as well as all the other chores around, in fact I like to clean, my wife was ill for 25 years before I lost her and I did a lot of the work, including the washing and ironing. I enjoyed every minute I was able to be of service to her. If a man really loves his wife he will help her all he can.

Of course I help spend the money she brings in. I already said I handle the finances, didn't I? I'm glad you like to clean. Wanna come by my house and give my wife a hand? I really appreciated the inference that I'm not helping my wife all I can. It was mighty white of you. ;)
