Re: "death panels" obamacare
No matter where they die, Canadians (who have a public healthcare and thus easier and less restrictive access to both healthcare and medications) live longer.

Re: "death panels" obamacare
Brittan has a panel that decides who gets meds and who is too sick.
You think I brought that up? Or your silly implication that lower life expectancy is because of immigration (Texas, California, Arizona, and New Mexico all have higher life expectancy than your favorite state Ohio with your precious "Cleveland Clinic"). Or your silly implication that "drug use" somehow has to do with life expectancy? (Pot is legal in Alaska and the Netherlands and they both have higher life expectancies than your favorite state of Ohio with your precious "Cleveland Clinic".) Which state DOES have a public system? Hawaii. Guess who ranks first in life expectancy? (laughing) NOT Ohio. None of your numbers add up when you apply RESULTS to them. The above reference to a "panel" in Britain is a statement, like your death panel statement, that flat gives untrue information. Because Britain does not have restrictions on "prescription drugs" nor do many, many other countries. You can just go get them, doctor or no doctor. Better than your current system where people go without them because there is no access at all to a doctor thus no access to medications either. Quote:

It is clear not a single one is any where near the topic of "death Panels" You get reminded but you just don't get it. I realize there is an Obama triggered dementia. Severly afflicted patients start all kinds of deflected topics to distract from the issues. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=egCYD...layer_embedded Obama is praying for a huricane to attack so this fiasco won't get coverage. Read up on Dr emanuel and then come back with some info to support some assertions if you can stay on topic. |

Re: "death panels" obamacare
Obama triggered dementia indeed. You think this silly plan effects me or my family in any way, shape, or form? Yet you act like you are qualified to talk about or compare care under health insurance / the US system with anywhere else in the world. HA. All you can talk about is the "Cleveland Clinic" in a state that ranks 36/50 in a country that ranks 1st in healthcare spending and 26th in how long the patients live. You don't like public healthcare? You need to show that the patients actually do worse, anywhere, in any place or country or state with public healthcare than they currently do JUST in your favorite state of Ohio where the wonderful and esteemed "Cleveland Clinic" is located. Otherwise I believe I will say what I wish on this thread. You can always ignore it.

OK. What is you medical education? What is your definiton of sick? Disease? Illness? Should the DSM IV TR put Obama attachment disorders under Dementias or mood disorders? There is no doubt Democrats could be delivered from Obama Reactive Attachment Disorder |
Re: "death panels" obamacare
Anyone found proof of these "death panels" yet?

Re: "death panels" obamacare
Only that the "end of life planning and care" amendments to the bill were attached by a republican from Georgia (laughing) as part of covering access to "end of life" planning as part of the reform bill
All the seniors are covered by medicare now. Any sign of "death panels" in the public medicare system (except for Ohio where people do in fact die earlier in spite of all efforts of the highly esteemed Cleveland Clinic) than dope-smoking hippy types in the Netherlands? Quote:

Re: "death panels" obamacare
And what excuse are they using to include the IRS?
The government has used the IRS as the KGB for America to increase fear. This should not be. The IRS powers need to be reviewed and taken away. They are only supposed to be a collector of money.[/QUOTE] The IRS will of course have to go to employers and collect insurance premium. They will also have to collect tax and fines from companies that don't have full State coverage and for the 4 or 8% to cover the non employees. The IRS will be the weapon to see how much money providors make and show ways they can bet the prices down. 1000 Advil wholesale to a hospital pharmacy is 5 dollars. They do not sell this quantity and package to Walmart for resale. Obama will have his people bully at every transaction. Today there was even mumbling about buying some drugs from Canada. The IRS may be needed if rationing takes place and the IRS can track people paying to reduce their wait times. Whenever you impose severe and choking controls, there are fears of people beating the system. |
