Chairs lined the waiting room walls with young Hispanic women (don't know what that was about), the chairs stretched around a corner. I sat next to the woman and asked if I could pray for the child. When I began to pray, the Holy Ghost fell and all of the young women began to cry and speak in tongues. In the dream, I understood that somewhere in the lives of these women, they had received the Holy Ghost, but things had transpired in their lives that moved them away from Him. What I felt was that they represented people all over and that one day, when we have a move of God like we want to see, He will restore those that life and circumstance tried to destroy - in a mighty, powerful, outpouring.

I know that I will see this dream come to pass. I don't know when, but I will.

I know that something wonderful from God is coming from a direct message from God many moons ago as well as times that I would feel the presence of God when I read something or thought something in regards to him moving in a powerful way.

Amen! I feel like I am standing here, tapping my foot, ready to run - just any minute!

I think I have the whole story on a flash drive somewhere. I'll look for it.

A weariness has set in that is putting the saints of God fast asleep. It is the sleep of death. The saints of God in the USA are overcharged with the cares of life that going on some times seems more than they can endure, especially when their church offers little of the bread that came down from heaven to replenish their strength and vitality. So much of the joy of salvation is gone replaced by a religious enthusiasm which grows old with routine.

Gone are the days when saints could hardly bear to be out of church even for one night. I saw the time when the glory of God was so brightly moving, rejoicing the people in the blessed purity of unfeigned holiness and presence of God that it was hard to dismiss a service...often saints lingered all night in the after-glow of His majestic presence, beholding the face of their heavenly lover.

I saw the time when just simply walking into the church, diseases disappeared, sick recovered and those bound in wheel chairs simply got up and walked. The power of God was present to heal...to save and deliver. The love lights of God and for each other shone as a bright as the blinding light of high noon.

Religiosity has replaced that glory. No doubt this pastor has fought the battle for so long that he is now weary and beyond going on. He, like so many of his saints would just simply rather stay home and relax instead of enduring the weariness of yet another non-productive church service.

Saints, hold on. There is about to be a heavenly burst of the glory of God to hit the earth. You will be glad that you did not give up. Something beyond what you can possibly imagine is just ahead.

Apprehended... Please don't be offended, but did you really see those things as bolded above, with your own eyes in the magnitude that you portrayed? Not doubting that God can and does this but I've been around for 67 years and I've never "seen" with my owns eyes what it seems you are saying you've seen.

Can you name the incidents? Or have we heard this so much from the pulpits that in our mind we think it has happened as they say?

Again, don't be offended or mad with me, I just want to understand better that you in fact can itemize one after the other the occasions of people walking in and disease falling off; folks getting up out of wheel chairs at random and walking off.

These things happened just as I said. I was there. These things and many more besides happened on 16th and Day Streets in Alexandria, La. during the late 1950s and early 1960s in my home church at the time.

There was such an intensity of the Spirit there that it was on one occasion most of the people in the church had a difficult time standing. Many were slain in the Spirit. Once, a white-hot fire tornado swept through the old building and knocked many of us down. This is nothing new. My parents told me of times in the 1930s that the congregation was hit and was strewn around almost like cord wood.

I am an eye witness to many things none of which I would exaggerate or embellish. There were many mighty miracles that took place in that old church on 16th and Day. Hopefully, someone will write a book about it before it becomes ancient history and forgotten.

btw, Have you ever read the book on the life and ministry of Sister Maria Woodworth-Etter? If not, you should try to get a copy of it. She was long before my time but I've seen much of what took place in her own ministry.

Not doubting you at all. I am aware of 16th and Day. I wish someone would publish a book that said...
1) Sis. So and So got up from her wheelchair and is still out of it today. And here's her name.
2) Bro. So and So had a tumor disappear from his neck and here are pictures before and after. And here's his name.
3) Bro. Who Would Have Thought It was blind, could not see, and here are doctor reports to substantiate the fact and here he is reading his Bible. And his name is ______.

Why so doubtful? Well you can get on TV and hear reports of so many things that supposedly happened, (and then find out there was someone behind the stage with a remote facility telling the preacher what he needed to know). Others who walked in and got in a wheelchair before they were prayed for.

I've seen push downs, fall downs, etc and when you stop and think, (without emotionalism being involved) you wonder just how much of this was God and how much of it was a promotional tactic of some preacher or evangelist.

So I guess, when I hear someone make the statement you made, I wonder if that's not a phrase that has been repeated so many times from the pulpit that we get to thinking that it really happened, when it has not. That's the reason I say, "Give me a name!"

Could you, please, give me the name of the lame man who was healed at the gate called Beautiful or maybe the name of the woman with the issue of blood? I have the feeling names and dates wouldn't do much to convince you.
If Apprehended says he saw these things why don't you believe him? Why would names make you believe?

The last time that I was at a Gen. Conf. was in Milwaukee during the 1990s. Praise went up so greatly during a choir selection that the glory of God came down in a mighty way. A woman (whose name I do not know) who had not walked in a quite a few years. She suddenly stood up and begin to walk. That was the last time I saw anyone get out of a wheel chair who had not walked in many years. Brother Urshan had the woman to testify.
