Any ideas of what to see, what to eat, recommendations on where to stay?
I am budgeting about 800-1000 for the 3 days we are there.
So we are on a budget, so I can't splurge.
On the list is the British Museum, Westminister Abbey, Imperial War Museum, Tower of London, taking a Walk tour, etc. Any others ideas, I have no idea what kinds of food we should try. So input from those that have been would be helpful.
Thanks in Advance

Well, we ate a lot of Indian food in London, but since you're headed there, you probably don't want that!!!
We actually ate in the pubs alot. Lots of selection and cheaper prices. They are not like pubs in the U.S.; they don't even feel like a bar - it's just what they call them. They are everywhere!
Be sure to see Picadilly area; there are street artists and performers all over the place; it's really fun. The greatest thing we did was to see the bunkers where Churchill stayed during the war. They sealed them up and left them just like they were when the war ended, so you can see his bed, his phone where he called FDR, the maps on the wall that he used, etc. It's really interesting.
We also went to Windsor Castle one day and we all loved that. The Tower of London is an amazing place to go too.
Have a great time! We loved London.
