It's not about the cross in dispensationalism.

Yes I know Mike, according to disp. the cross really does not have any meaning it is just a little blip in time, because according to the way the perceive things the cross only established a gap in time so that a few Gentiles could find God. Then God is going to go back to temple sacrifices and deal with only the Jews.

But my bible tells me that God sent his son into the world that the WORLD might be saved. To me that includes the Jews and Gentiles.

Is the world saved Loren?

Is what you see the best you think God can do today?

Dont you believe that Jesus is able to rule all the human beings in the entire world?

If Jesus ruled all human beings, what would He use to do it?

That's right Loren, a ROD OF IRON!

The whole world will be FORCED into righteousness, when Jesus Christ returns.

You must kinda think that what we see today is the best that our God can ever do.

I got news for you....our Bible says Jesus will bring in EVERLASTING righteousness, and ONLY allow the righteous to inhabit the earth.

That is just your problem Sean, GOD DOES NOT FORCE ANYONE TO SERVE HIM. It has always been about free will not force.

And actually Sean I don't know what cave you are living in but your perception of the world is so small it amazes me. Just because you cannot see the spread of Christianity beyond your narrow minded Pharisaical view point, does not make it so. Turn off your TV, radio, or whatever you get your new from. The crime rate per capita in the world is down from exponentially, from what it was just a few hundred years ago.

Oh yes he DOES, Loren!.....

31 When the Son of man shall come in his glory, and all the holy angels with him, then shall he sit upon the throne of his glory:

32 And before him shall be gathered all nations: and he shall separate them one from another, as a shepherd divideth his sheep from the goats:

33 And he shall set the sheep on his right hand, but the goats on the left.

34 Then shall the King say unto them on his right hand, Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world:

35 For I was an hungred, and ye gave me meat: I was thirsty, and ye gave me drink: I was a stranger, and ye took me in:

36 Naked, and ye clothed me: I was sick, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came unto me.

37 Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?

38 When saw we thee a stranger, and took thee in? or naked, and clothed thee?

39 Or when saw we thee sick, or in prison, and came unto thee?

40 And the King shall answer and say unto them, Verily I say unto you, Inasmuch as ye have done it unto one of the least of these my brethren, ye have done it unto me.

41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:

If you were faced with the choice, I am sure you would accept His kingdom offer beforehand!

What ever Sean, your going to believe what you want in your small pharisaical world, while the kingdom of God marches on without you. As Christ said to Paul, "it must be hard fighting against the pricks" and that is just what you are doing, fighting against the expansion of the kingdom of God, and like the Pharisee of old, you don't know that you are doing. While publicans and harlots are coming into the kingdom in droves, you sit on you self made throne beating your breast declaring, "look at me a Christian".

They made the choice Sean, before God cast them into everlasting fire. God did not force anyone.

The choice has always been before all mankind, but is it any wonder so many choose not to enter the kingdom with people like you putting stipulations that Christ never did on entering his kingdom.

Mat 23:13 But woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye shut up the kingdom of heaven against men: for ye neither go in yourselves, neither suffer ye them that are entering to go in.

Mat 23:15 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.

Mat 23:23 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the law, judgment, mercy, and faith: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.
Mat 23:24 Ye blind guides, which strain at a gnat, and swallow a camel.

You are straining at gnats while swallowing a camel.

That says it all folks, that says it all. :nod

I guess some thought I was kidding when I said that a session in Sean's Bible study class is the Gladiator School in the Circus Maximus?

Sean, when a man focuses just on the wrath of God then all he can see in the scripture is people getting what they deserve. Well, Sean, Jesus came so we don't get what we deserve. This is maybe why you fly off the hinges when you are opposed? Maybe it is because instead of heaven is in your view, hell is in your view, and all those who don't believe just like you are being thrown into it. :(

Howbout that?

If Jesus is not physically reigning, then neither are WE!

Want more?

Oh how you read things into verses that aren't there, and then demand us to show the exact words "dual nature" in the bible.

Nothing you showed says Jesus rules when physically on earth. The truth is he already rules over every name there is from his place in heaven at the right hand. If he has all power now over this world he already rules then there's nothing left remaining for him to rule over.
