Wow. That is amazing! It scares me to think of how much damage could be caused by an earthquake in the 8+ magnitude. It would be so widespread!

That is what is funny, I have stayed out of this one because I know how unusual it is in those areas, and I don't want to be insensitive. I have lived on the San Andreas Fault line for most of my life, so I been a rockin and a rollin for a long time!! LOL!!

You also live in a state with building code regulations designed for earthquake prone areas. Around here we don't have anything like that. That's what troubles me most about a high magnitude earthquake around here.

Our pastor's wife woke up the bishop and made him go downstairs to the basement when it went through Illinois. He said that they didn't think they suffered any foundational damage, but others in the city said it cracked several foundations around town.]

Not sure if this was the quake or not, but I was sound asleep but woke up at about that time thinking my alarm had gone off. I looked around and wondered why I woke up before the alarm sounded. I think laid back down and went to back to sleep. lol
