Did you know that there is medication for uncontrollable, unfounded fear and paranoia?

The IRS will of course have to go to employers and collect insurance premium. They will also have to collect tax and fines from companies that don't have full State coverage and for the 4 or 8% to cover the non employees. The IRS will be the weapon to see how much money providors make and show ways they can bet the prices down. 1000 Advil wholesale to a hospital pharmacy is 5 dollars. They do not sell this quantity and package to Walmart for resale. Obama will have his people bully at every transaction. Today there was even mumbling about buying some drugs from Canada. The IRS may be needed if rationing takes place and the IRS can track people paying to reduce their wait times.

as a History teacher....this sounds a lot like the claims from the 1930's & 40's. Back then...everyone wanted "proof" that Hitler was doing what a small minority said he was doing...the "proof" was later found in the bodies of millions of dead people.

America is to large(land mass, social structure, economics, etc..)...for Government ran health care...or better put "Socialized Health Care". All of these other countries with government ran health care don't have the population, land mass, social, economic, etc...diversity that America has.

And i don't believe any of these countries were founded as a democratic republic.

If you like the way they live in those countries...then please move there. Why try and make America like them? We don't want to be them!!

Obama is sneaky and deceptive. He will not call something what it is but puts a marketing sping on it and makes it sound different.

‘eligible expenditures’ is the expression written in to describe what they cover. If Chemo is not ""elgible expenditure" as the guidelines ffrom the "death Panel" so be it.

You struggle with "getting it" You just don't get it. Let me help you. If there is a panel edict that disallows a medication for you and it is a life saving product, you die. You die. That makes the panel a "death panel" They denied palliative care, you die and or suffer also. The hionest descriptor is "death panel"

Just like the deceiving lying /democrats banter about with the expression "planned parenthood" It is another famous lie. it is not about parenthod. It is about abortion and preventing parenthood.

I have seen a death panel before. We had an 8 year old boy bleeding to death after an accident. His familiy and friends were JW's and we couldn't get a judge to grant an order for a transfusion so I can call that group in the waiting room a "death panel" It was a group decision. He died.

This is another example of somewhat well intentioned people who don't do research on things for themselves letting people like goofy Sarah Palin get them all worked up over nothing. Good Christian people get caught up in spreading the lies and mistruths so a politician can play a political game and in the process people are driven to fear and illogical conclusions.

Sarah Palin never believed there were any "death panels". She simply brought up it up to keep her spotlight loving name in public view, never mind, she lied to do so.

Georgia Republican Senator Johnny Isakson told the Washington Post and I quote, "How someone could take an end of life directive or a living will as that is nuts,” he said. “You’re putting the authority in the individual rather than the government. I don’t know how that got so mixed up.” All the provision in the bill does is allow for Doctors to be paid for talking to families about "living wills, choosing a health care proxy or learning about hospice care". Those are all things that everyone already discusses, but the measure simply pays a doctor for his time to talk with the family about it during a session.

In addition the measure actually BLOCKS funding for counseling that discusses suicide or physician assisted suicide as an option for treatment. Surely everyone understands what the phrase "blocks funding" means right?

Those are the facts for those who actually want them and aren't just trying to kill healtcare reform so their side can "win".

What's amazing to me is that so many Republicans do their best to defeat healthcare reform when a Democrat is in office and wants to address the issue. They are great at playing defense. They have no offense however. The Republican party hasn't done a blessed thing to help fix the acknowledged health care problem in this country even though they've controlled the White House and both houses of Congress several times over the last 29 years.

The Republican party apparently doesn't have any solutions to help fix health care. Just saying, "No", to everything a Democratic administration proposes doesn't help solve the problem. They refused to lead so the Democrats are in the process of doing so.

Those are the facts for those who have half a brain and want to know the truth.

That is untrue. He did not say as much. What he said was that the doctor would be involved with end of life discussions. This includes discussions about living wills, making a close relative or a trusted friend your health care proxy, or talking about hospices and such among the lawyer and the patient. This already happens, only now the doctor will be able to listen in and recommend things to the patient. The AARP supports this provision, btw:

Hitler started with the mentally ill and the severely crippled. We don't want to be famous for not learning from Germany. Hitler was famous with word games. Relocation centers, Society for Racial Hygiene, children deemed "life unworthy of life", Auswahlfeiheit" .freedom of choice.

Obama even changed how he named the bill. For 2 weeks he calls it "insurance reform act". It isn't about insurance. it is about socialized medicine.

That's why it won't just be Government ran health care. Private health insurance will still be there.
