Unless I'm mistaken Jesus used something called a Parable to bring life applicable lessons to folks... I like to read them...

Parables are based on biblical principles ... this anti-tv stance is extrabiblical .... unless you include other "inns" that affect our spirit .... or other mediums used to spread the gospel.

Depending on who is Master in your life or can become your master will be what directs your children's future... if you set the Master before them.. they will grow up knowing him or whatever else becomes god in your life.. because it becomes your master of time... expense..and everything else..

There is a Biblical Principle set... in the story.. what Man enjoyed overode his responsibility to his family.. it dulled his senses to what was necessary for his kid's life... thereby enslaving him to it... and in the end.. he was right back where he started from... in the INN...

I think we forget that our kids grow up...

But is only the INN if one allows it to control them... otherwise it is mere entertainment. :D
