Is it factual to include a reference that if left unclarified would associate the items being discussed "Divine Flesh" and the "Adam" doctrine with the person you named?

look, if you are trying to make out to be the Bad Guy in this you are wrong.
i didn't state anything as matter of fact. if you re-read it, it was more a Question then a blanket statment. I don't keep up with exactly what each of these men believe so forgive me for not being perfect as you are

Phillips - I know (1st hand) that Ken & Wanda Phillips met recently with one of our UPC ministers and Wanda Phillips told him: "[name deleted], tell the UPC not to be stupid and do what we did! (referring to going onto television). We spent all that money, and didn't win anybody...I'll tell you those TV producers are just a bunch of crooks out to get your money...I wish we'd never did it."

Too bad they chose to be a test case, what happended to their church - once a great revival church - as a result is sad.

You gotta love third hand stories ... this is the same KP that has just entered in a joint venture ... and is excited about Acts 29 TV.

As for Suber 'going off the deep end' ... this is what happens when someone leaves the org ... but there is nothing to demonize him w/ ... so of course ... he has to be out of his mind ...

The vilification ... of former org ministers ..... is nothing new.

I find this exraordinarily hard to believe. I was a member of KP's church for 16 years.

This sounds like either an outright untruth or one of those famous situations where things get twisted around from what was originally said.

I can't tell you the number of times during the 16+ years I was in Austin that I would go to another state to visit UPC friends or relatives and here the wildest things about my church and pastor. None of which were true.

Has KP had disappointments in his efforts in the TV ministry? Aabsolutely!
Have they won people to the Lord and made an impact on the world? Absolutely!!
Was it to the degree that he had hoped for? Absolutely not.

Your supposed quote attritubted to WP sounds like all of the other stuff I have heard for years about how he supposedly says he wants to go back to legalism, yada, yada, yada. I have heard that for 15 years now and if it is true why hasn't he preached Promiseland back to bundage?

CC,

This is the same KP ... I heard inspire a group of ministers about the New Church Order in December ....

He's not looking back ... but forward.

Since when is holiness bondage? Oh, since those who have left it have decided to become bound to the things of the world. OK, I get it now.

seguidordejesus 04-28-2007 07:27 PM

He didn't say "bondage"...he said "BUNdage"...read man, read!

I ain't touching Barley with a 10 foot pole. I have posted on here the reasoning I had why I left his fellowship.

Brother Price 04-28-2007 07:28 PM

What in the world is bundage?
