We're planning on visiting Grace Church Humble tomorrow to give my wife her first charismatic experience! :D

Segi, all I am going to say is I told you the first thing that would happen is that she'd fatten you up so no one else would want you. Welcome to the club! LOL

I will definitely look you up when I come up that way!

Sounds great brother.

On the small church thing... we run around 100 and I understand the concept very well. :)

It is a shame, especially as well as my wife knows Brother Wise & Brother Terry, that in 3 years of living here we haven't made it over to Choudrant to be in a service with them.

If we make it over I will locate them and do a little name dropping.. It is always good to have a good name to drop when you go visit somewhere. :)

There is a chance that we used to be acquainted with them since we ran aroudn with LaGirl and a few others from Minden about 13-15 years ago.

Oh man... for 8 hours of waiting we could have brought you to the house and visited or even just let you take a good ole southern nap so you would be rested up.

I have to share this:

We had communion this morning at church. When they passed the plates with the little matzo crackers on them, it was all I could do to keep from busting out laughing out loud. I could not stop thinking about you guys 'breaking tortillas' together!!!! :lol:lol:lol:lol:lol

I love CoC ... Pastor Hutchins and the church family there have been great ... but for several reasons ... I am thinking of making Grace my home church ...

Among them are:

1. It's a little easier to access and less time in commuting ... and they have an 11:30 Sunday morning service

2. My kids seem to be more comfortable there ... Danah likes it a lot ... I've had huge problems w/ Aaron staying in the nursery ... at CoC ... he just plain won't ... he's been good at Grace ... although today ... he would not cooperate.

3. I really enjoy the worship and preaching at Grace... Hector Soto, their music pastor, is awesome ....it's a Global Network church and I seem to relate a little better to their views also.

I haven't introduced myself to the Jones family, yet, Phil. They seem to be a great family. They are doing a fantastic job ... they now have 3 services on Sundays and are averaging 500-600 per service ...

Yes ... Dan has just admitted to church-hopping. :heeheehee

Dan,

Vicki will be there on July 15th.
