In what sense?

In one sense, there is the way some people say they know God. They know what He has done and said, and they know His attributes. Maybe know what He will do in the future.

Many take it further than that, and say the have a personal relationship with Jesus. They talk to Him, and He talks back: they know His voice. They ask Him to do things for them, and He does them.

But yeah, maybe I was unfair in saying that nobody can know God. Not without adding "IMO". ;)

In the first instance, one usually means that they are aware of God, maybe, and know some relevant Scripture; although actually I don't think I have ever heard anyone say 'I know God,' like that--like, 'we hung out last night, just us two.'

And in the second instance, only
premises can be revealed by saying such a thing, yes?
Like they just were again, in your post. Premises were
revealed to you when ______ said that, and premises
are again revealed in your retelling of this surely
composite witness.
