Nobody! Yet lots of people pretend to. Er, ah, claim to. E.g., you know God? Don't you?

Hmm, this seems unfair, untrue...I don't know anyone who claims to know God, in that sense.

In what sense?

In one sense, there is the way some people say they know God. They know what He has done and said, and they know His attributes. Maybe know what He will do in the future.

Many take it further than that, and say the have a personal relationship with Jesus. They talk to Him, and He talks back: they know His voice. They ask Him to do things for them, and He does them.

But yeah, maybe I was unfair in saying that nobody can know God. Not without adding "IMO". ;)

Do some people merely pretend to know God?

Or maybe some think they do, but really don't? Or don't know as much about God as they think they do? And maybe they're wrong about some things?

In the first instance, one usually means that they are aware of God, maybe, and know some relevant Scripture; although actually I don't think I have ever heard anyone say 'I know God,' like that--like, 'we hung out last night, just us two.'

And in the second instance, only
premises can be revealed by saying such a thing, yes?
Like they just were again, in your post. Premises were
revealed to you when ______ said that, and premises
are again revealed in your retelling of this surely
composite witness.

"No one knows the Son, except the Father,"
but i can say that when you start asking for the right things,
man, are you going to get them--better watch out! :lol
Ps, not you, Timmy, you are exempt. Don't worry, you
aren't going to get anything that you ask for. Ever. As a
matter of fact, you'll prolly start getting the opposite of
what you ask for, any second now. What have you ever asked for?
That God promised to deliver on? Those were all personal requests!
Send a letter to Santa!

When you're ready to get what you ask for,
you will know that you're getting it before you
even ask; you can even confess that to the air,
and any sinners around who happen to hear,
to their amazement and unbelief! Peace.

Re: If Jesus Returns Kill Him Again

Ha no; I'm afraid that would limit me to
"Is Jesus God," "God, why do I even have hair anyway,"
or "Hoo(b) gwan beez(b) da nex' Prebzidint,
so we kin b anywhere but here?"

But since, imo, you are far and away
the best...Agnostic in the place-

-"Or maybe some think they do, but really don't? Or don't know as much about God as they think they do? And maybe they're wrong about some things?"
(Or, just maybe, they are completely irrelevant to
your walk, except to reveal your premises? You are not alone;
they do not exist--I can get witnesses for you,
or just ask anyone you might believe who read
that post; "more toddlers")-

-I'm going to dew you a most non-sequitur
favor; since you prolly might get it,
and reveal to you that starting now,
everything you speak aloud, in earnest,
is going to come true for you
.

And what is really sick is that
even as you're saying it, and
re membering this curse, you will,
(possibly)--even in a crowd--im mediately
correct your word, your little Agnostic Dabhar,
thus verifying the essence of God (to you;
but go ahead and deny this, if you can)
and witnessing it to anyone in earshot. It's just
a power I have, and rarely use; don't ask.

Of course, your premises have already been revealed,
and 'correcting' your word is tantamount to...
hmm, I don't know, procreative production that
produces a boy, that you wish to change to a girl,
in a sense (but still better than nothing, and better luck next
test)

Let me know when this makes sense to you,
and we'll move on to the consequences :lol

Re: If Jesus Returns Kill Him Again

:lol
I signed back in to ask you to add a dose of humility to that;
especially since I basically made it up from Scrip...all true, tho,
so if you think Uv seen it all, but aren't sure what it is;
like the witness part, does that part make sense?

Re: If Jesus Returns Kill Him Again

and, what do you mean?
Uv already seen WOW
(walking on water),
people flying unaided, etc? What?
