Men are barbers, not 'beauticians' !!!! LoL.. naw,, I just uhh... wouldn't want to be a shampoo'er at Regis.. don't need that stigma! |
Beauticians???? In what the 1940's? My mom was a beautician. She would
be in her eighties. Now days its called a stylist.:killinme Men now are stylists, nurses, and some stay at home dads.I think work roles have changed drastically.I have a friend who works at a barber shop and she likes it.I can do alot of things. My dad taught me to weld and train horses.I was a riding instructor for awhile. We shoed, trimmed our own horses hooves etc.He had learned blacksmitting in the CC Camps. My mom taught me to sew, cook and organize a household. The result? A woman who is not afraid to work.I think its good to know how to do alot of things. For instance I love to hunt and fish. Not bambi though I prefer duck hunting.Bass fishing is my favorite and yes I bait my own hooks but then I also like to get a pedicure and love perfume. So its not the job or role its the circumstance involved. So a shampooer at the mall could be a mans job given his circumstance.:roseglasses |
