SOMETHING AWESOME HAPPENED!!!!!!!!!!!

This church now has a place to worship! God is gonna do something wonderful because this is a wonderful church and he didnt allow it to be destroyed for nothing good to come out of it! How much ya wanna bet it will one of the fastest growing on fire revival churches in the UPC... and better yet we claim In Jesus name that this 1200 seat building they have been given the use of will be full before their new building is built and half of it will be the AOG people who have been filled with the holy ghost and baptised in Jesus name so there GET OVER IT!!!!!!!!!!
For the record, Dan has family there but - to the best of my knowledge - has not talked to Bro. Lance. And, yes, Bro. Lance will take this thing through the roof now... I'm convinced of it.

That makes sense and I can see the confusion. Yes, the Cupples started a church in Cordova and Deacon gave me his blessings to help them as we went to Bible school together and have a long friendship.

Yes, Sherri had posted here that they offered the use of their bldg. in Jackson to the Lances.

By the way, this 'UPC' Pastor also called Sherri's brother as soon as I could to check on her. I bet that news doesn't travel as fast as this other stuff.

Their church is only a few blocks from Union University - - a complete miracle it wasn't touched.

Yep I did and I totally agree!

We had a church once offer us to use their baptist church... It was 4 months later our pastor baptized the entire black baptist church in Jesus name and every one of them were filled with the holy ghost!!! God doesnt let things like this happen for no reason!

The FACT about being cautious because another church (business) that is part of the same franchise could potentially take your clients/saints is simply based on reality!

THIS IS NOT UPC BASHING! Good grief!!!!

It would be awkward for BOTH churches if an offer to use their building was given. If my church was destroyed, I would prefer to use the building of a different franchise. That way, there is a definite distinction between the two groups using the building. There would be less competition.

Some of you are OVERLY sensitive, and just need to face reality. People are people no matter which organization/ business you belong to!

I live in a small town of 5,000 population. There are a lot of churches here. Mostly Baptist and only one apostolic/oneness church that I know of. I guess it is different in larger cities. And it doesn't really matter to me who offered or didn't offer, but that the cause of Christ is being done. Nothing else should have entered anyone's mind. But to give God the glory for a GREAT thing being done for His church, the body, not the building.
