LOL!!!!

If I remember correctly didn't girls have to wear their hair "up" to classes so hence the famous quick "bun" hairdos were the fashion of the day.

Of course Mrs. CC1 had a variation on the bun we called the "Swoop".

The "Swoop" looked simple but in fact took a very, very, very long time to get smooth and done right. Usually by the time Mrs. CC1 finished it for church she really, really, needed church.

Yes, we had to wear it up and YES it was usually a bun-do!

We even named one of our friends Bundley because she wore the same "bun-do" all the time and still does.

For you JCM alumns, I ministered this weekend for Pastor Darrel Johns of Atlanta, GA.
He mentioned that he used to be an instructor and a bunch of other things at JCM...
I mentioned some of you by name and he remembered some of you :)

He said he had gone to the reunion that some of you had put on in Nashville (?) a few years ago and enjoyed sharing memories...

Darrell is a great person. I really enjoyed getting to see him back on 2005 at the JCM reunion. Even though I had not seen him for probably 15 years it was as if time had not passed.

He needs to host the 2010 JCM reunion in Atlanta at his church!!!!!

I didn't make. No one invited me. Of course I had been out of circulation for many years by then. I did get the DVD though. Thank God for technology.

Darrel was among the Florida contingent. There were four of us I believe. :-)

The man took a Church of 300 or so about 12 years ago....last week had 1102 in service! That's not an "Easter Spike" He averages just about a hundred below that.

Awesome administrator, Awesome Pastor.

Is that DVD only for JCM alumns or is that something I could buy?

Pastor Suber's church is a multi-million dollar debt free complex. On Saturday before Easter they through a picnic/party for the community. Would guess over 500 showed up. Free cotton candy and rides for the kids. BarBQue dinner etc.

The first pic is Pastor Suber with some out of town preacher.

The next is Pastors Suber's mom and Sis Griffin

The next few are the fellowship hall, huge full sized basketball court, state of art kitchen etc.

Then a couple of the kids having fun.

Pastor's sister- Michelle can barely be made out on left side of last pic
