I must say, those pants are a bit tight. Even if they were baggy, I'd personally still have no problem telling the difference between the two.

Let me reiterate my question.

Why do butch lesbians feel the need to wear pants, and display short hair to show their machismo?

First, I do not think women should wear pants, but don't judge it as a salvational issue. I do think it is a distincion issue, and more so in our culture, a MODESTY issue. The better question is how much womens "pants" are modest? The majority are very close fitting, and form fitting-this is not modest, plus as one preacher said "it splits the legs" (I don't totally endorse that thought, but on tight fitting pants/spandex it does deserve mention somewhere in the conversation.

Also in ur culture, many have accepted pants on women, but it is quite easy to show that pants in america always were a mans garment until the women went to working in facotrys during ww2? (I cant remember if it was one or two). Anyway, I am not saying you women who wear pants are going to hell, so please don't paint me that way. In fact if the jeans are normal, not close fitting, or even something like sweat pants, the modesty argument doesn't even apply in those cases, the only thing is really is it a mans garment. And from that standpoint, I don't make an issue, I don't think the traditional application of Duet 22:5 is accurate, especially in our culture. I think the bais of the topic should revolve around the principle of modesty-which is solid, but when it gets into being an "abomination" based on Duet 22, it is very dificult to defend that stance when really pressured, if you are honest with the scriptures and yourself.

Now, why I posted rendas phot was I see this stuff all the time. It's not modest just because it is a dress!!! Aren't these people supposed to have the Holy Ghost? Sometimes, they would be much more modest in a regular old pair of pants, they certainly would be more covered, why don't more pastors speak out against this? Am I alone? I haven't gone to camp meeting in 3 years because it seems like for an awful lot of people it was more a fashion show, than about drawing closer and seeking God. Anyhow, before I get fired up, I will say, a far as a difference between men and womens pants, sometimes there is not a NOTICABLE difference. But the bigger issue is modesty. Any Thoughts???

Actually nowdays you don't know when a man is a man and a woman is a woman.

Also, as someone posted that just because something is "attractive" people are against it. I beg to differ, it is becuase of modesty. Obviously if a women was good looking they would be "attractive" whether in a dress or pants. But I can tell you I had an employee working for me who wore spandex everyday to work, tight fitting spndex, she was (i assume) 300-350 lbs. So for the tight fitting argument, there is a ditch on both sides of the road.

PS- and short dresses/skirts too. Just because it is a dress/skirt doesn't make it modest.

Newsflash, less than 5% of the population looks like that in jeans, especially the women who if you can't tell are models. Can we just talk about what folks look like in normal every day life?

Goodness!

Are you in the head of the local lesbian that you can feel what their needs are?

I suppose then we are using our ability to evaluate what is in fact that which pertaineth to a man?

Doesn't nature itself teach that which is unto men and that which is unto women? It doesn't have anything to do with skirts and pants.
