AWE - I know you wish you could play one so bad - I can and I do and can rock the house with one! FYI - Hammond's are all over the world and I have played them in almost every one of the 57 nations I have preached in.
I did not call you a NUT!
HAMMOND'S ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Then, pray tell, how 50% of your posts find a way to hurl barbs at the UPC? It seems like it's always about the UPC to you.

Those in doubt might want to go back and just look at your past posts. Here's just a sampling of the last several.

Of course - I would have voted NO when I was in it - at least the last 4 years I was in it - so count my vote!

That's just in the last 10 posts. That means 50%.

The bottom line is that it does, to many, appear that you have a vendetta against the UPC.

Sorry.

THe non-English speaking reference was to the KJV, not the Hammond.

NO Vendetta's

I can assure you - I have no ill feelings or a vendetta against any one. I do not despise my years in the UPC - you guys have wrong thinking about that. I have been places where that is the MAIN message - but that is NOT the case with me.
My congregation has no idea I was ever even affiliated with the UPC. They don't know and they don't care! I would say that 95% or more of them have never even heard of it. I have never mentioned it in any way negative or positive or disrespected it - and have had some great UPC men in my pulpit.

I simply do not understand how someone that says they are UPC or Pentecostal or Apostolic - in any sense - Can despise powerful Praise music and can say - we don't need a Hammond Organ.
You want to get on here and rebuke me - and you know as well as I do - you like the same music and praise and worship I do! You would not have it dead and dry like some of these Dead Heads do!

This kind of talk reminds me of the black people who call people like Clarence Thomas, and Condoleeza Rice uncle toms because they became successful OUTSIDE the system.

I'll take soul winning techniques from the Alexandra anytime.

800 baptized a year times 10 is 8000? Now how many do they have?
Times 20 is 16000???? Then plus all those folks they scavenger off every church is 50 miles where did you put them?

NLYP, My experience tells those who can, do. Those who can't tear down. People can't stand success outside their preconcieved systems. Don't let it get to you. They would tear down Jesus if he were on earth today.

WHEN YOU are baptizing over 800 every year and you have to remodel and build just to accomodate the crowd...then you say what you want..until then you might want to hush....

Just a word for you....Thousand have been delivered on that "dance floor", thousands have received the Holy Ghost on the "dance floor", thousands have repented of their sins on that "dance floor", thousands of marriages have been healed on that "dance floor", 24 hour prayer has gone on there for over 30 years on that "dance floor".

You might want to think about what you post before you talk about the "dance floor" at the POA!

Sorry - That was all directed to The Dean - Administrator! And I know - he would NOT settle for a DEAD DRY CHURCH!
OK - The Dean - Am I right about it?

And Woodstock - It was a JOKE about the KJV and the Hammond.
I have had just as good of "church" with a guitar slung around my neck and someone beating a tambourine - but one thing for sure - when it is MY TIME - We gonna Have Church! I may be blowing a horn, playing the Keyboard, beating on a wash tub or sitting at a Hammond - but WE ARE GONNA ROCK!

I think there is nothing wrong with kicking music, Hammond organs and worship music. It can never replace preaching but it has it's place in Apostolic worship. Generally those who argue about good music are those that don't have it. I think their main criticism was for a man who won't preach truth.

I have no problem telling you that I love music. Good music. Slow music. Shouting music. I love it all. My only problem with your posts is the recurrent anti-UPC theme.

My choice praise equipment is a les paul and a stack of marshalls.
