Seriously though, I know that hurts, both physically and emotionally. You should post a better pic of her though. I'm sure she'd like that better!!!

I will do that before long! Tomorrow is her birthday and I'll take some more pictures! That picture was taken with my phone!

PM....I just still say bless her heart....dear lady, it had to be pretty hard on her...that is a very long incision. I am praying she will recover quickly and completely with out side effects or a return....

Thank you all for your thoughts and prayers! She is still experiencing bouts of dementia. The doc said it could last 7-10 days from the day of the surgery. Today is day #7.

She has a lot of rehab work ahead of her.

when i had my Chiari surgery, It took me a long wile to get back to normal. Just tell her not to try to over do it.
I spent 3 nites in ICU and believe it or not was discharged right out of icu.

WOW! The doc did say that some patients walk out of the hospital!

i did not do much for the first week but after that little by little i started doing things


almost afraid to go back to my neuro cause I have been having bad headaches again and double vision as it seems some need multiple surgeries and I dont want to do that again
