I know AG pastors (friends) who baptize in Jesus' name. They said it's left up to the pastor.

It's easy enough to call the church in Wasilla and ask how they baptize but I don't have the desire.

its been done. (allegedly... I believe it but cannot verify, but that was what was stated on a different forum)
answer:
they now baptize in the trinity but the older pastor might have done things differently...

As this is a OP forum some assuptions are natural and in order. When we refer to baptism in Jesus name we (that being those of us, who would be catorgised as OP) assume the baptizer actually speaks words that are literally "In Jesus name"

It is not left up to the Pastor I can assure you. It is a firmly established point of doctrine and to do contrarywise would violate their core beliefs. I can assure you that it is not a negotiable subject. I have no idea why your friends would suggest otherwise.

What is it with you, Daniel? Sometimes you show up as a nice guy, and other times you come on here like a hateful harpy. Consistency would be great. No one on this thread has been hateful towards trinitarians.

I'm just pointing out that if NYLP is going to claim she is baptized in Jesus' name, then he needs to clarify it if he means it only in a general sense, as opposed to the traditional Apostolic mode which has already been defined and is understood by every single person reading this thread.

Otherwise, if NYLP is going to claim SP is baptized in Jesus' name, then he must also apply that claim to all the other AoG people who have been baptized the in the same manner.
