He said very recently that he never said he was for a one-payer system, yet he is on tape when stomping for the presidency saying the opposite that he is for the one-payer system. He even admitted that it would take some time before everybody would be brought on the system. Giving you a false hope that you can choose what you want. Another of him many lies. |

In context, he said that if the surgery is not going to work, then they would present that option to the patient. That is what he said. You can read into that all you want, but it does not change what he said. If you watched the unedited video below the edited one, he said at least two times that the decision would be between the physician and patient. He even said he did not want the government to be involved in the medical decision. Really, he could not have said any more clearly that it would be the patient's decision. You have really got to hate the man to read anything into "I don't want bureaucracies making those decisions". |

If this is being inferior to them....then I'm ok with that. I think that's exactly what our founding fathers would like....inferior....but free!! I take it over superior but socialistic. JMHO...but I think most 1st generation Americans do not come here because they think this to be an inferior place. Why would they? I don't think they are forced to come and live here....no....I actually think many of them do whatever they can to come and stay in this great country...because they like it...even though it is so inferior. |

I'm assuming that she knows how to read and it's clear for anyone who can read that there is absolutely no possibility of "death panels" under this legislation. That's either a total fabrication of her imagination or a lie used to get her name in the press because of it's outlandishness. No one in their right mind can read that legislation and come up with "death panels". I'm in step with the Republican from Georgia on this. "How someone could take an end of life directive or a living will as that is nuts,” |

I do believe President Obama honestly believes he can do these things...but I also believe he is for a bigger, more involved government...and history shows that never works well with free-minded people. Hopefully there are enough still left....who vote.:) |

Obama wanted it before recess. Didn't want to have people read the bill. Now Christmas He sees it as maybe he will have to get a compromised bill signed and then slowly remove private carriers over time. |

He lied about which hospital he was born in and will keep lying about the care he promises from hospitals. QUEENS??? Full quote from Obama in 2003: “I happen to be a proponent of a single payer universal health care program.” (applause) “I see no reason why the United States of America, the wealthiest country in the history of the world, spending 14 percent of its Gross National Product on health care cannot provide basic health insurance to everybody. And that’s what Jim is talking about when he says everybody in, nobody out. A single payer health care plan, a universal health care plan. And that’s what I’d like to see. But as all of you know, we may not get there immediately. Because first we have to take back the White House, we have to take back the Senate, and we have to take back the House.” Obama speaking to the Illinois AFL-CIO, June 30, 2003. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=p-bY9...layer_embedded |
