I take great joy in saying... "I told you so".

THANK YOU ABIgrad for posting truth.

Good grief! :tiphat

If we would have had a betting line on this, you would have padded your pocket! :)

The District Supt., was there when the offer was made. The AG church is just ascroos the street, and much more convient. "Kudos" to Pastor Cliff Walker, and the Calvary Church (UPC).

Cool... Record officially straight. Thank God for everyone who's been offering assistance.. God always takes care of His people!

I offer my sincere apologies to anyone who thinks that i posted what I did to make this thread take a wrong turn. The reason I posted what I did was to get it back on track. Please note the colored portion of my post. Why not leave the negative all out and keep on the positive side. It really doesn't matter to me if you have gobs of situations that you can post about how the UPC did this and how they did that, posting them is not edifying! It is always dangerous in any situation to state all that you know.
Great kudos to the church that offered its building! I am sure that when the congregation has their service tomorrow, they will be thankful for a place to have it and the name over the door will be the last thing on their minds
I am sure that there will be many unsung heroes in this great time of rebuilding....there usually are.

Yes, isn't that just like Him. Keeps on doing what He does no matter what all the nay sayers do. Works things for His good and perfect will. Turning sorrow into JOY. Weeping may endure for the night, but Joy cometh in the morning.

When this is all over, the church will look back at all of this as a blessing from God!

Right on MrsBOOMM, just like after the hurricanes. God's people do help each other and lift up His name.

Pianoman,

I'm dear personal friends with the Pastor being spoken of here. I have 'first hand' knowledge of what I was saying and tried to set the record straight as to the willingness of the UPC to do what needed to be done.

I found posting the truth, and applauding it on behalf of ABIgrad, the only alternative to seeing this thread digress into a slaughterhouse. Amazingly, we may have stopped it before blood was shed.

I do find that a worthy cause.

As one who is still trying to rebuild 2 1/2 years after one of those hurricanes totally destroyed our Church... I can testify to that fact.
