No agenda here. Most certainly not.

But at the risk of being excommunicated from the forum as my family has me. I have been saved in the independent pentecostal church for over 24 years and love the Lord. Still learning as the days go by. Jeff.

Jeff, God loves us and does not want us to live a life of struggle, yet some of us do for years. Just keep trusting Him. And I pray that you find the peace that passes all understanding.

Re: Gay apostolics?

There are many NON-practicing homosexuals in Apostolic circles, just like there are non-practicing adulterers, fornicators, liars, cheaters, pedophiles, alcoholics, ect...

When we do practice sinning...we have an advocate with the Father through Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans would tell us that God's grace does not give us license to sin, therefore I find it a slap in the face of grace for a practicing homosexual to claim anything but in a backslidden condition that needs repented of.

The reprobate mindset is someone who boasts of their sin and no longer feels condemnation. So, for Jeff, and the many others through the past 5 years who have tried to get us to compromise on the sin factor, I will have to say there are some things that we cannot compromise on...this is one of them.

Blessings, Rhoni

I will gladly answer any questions you all might have of me. Just ask. I will be honest. What is my stance on homosexuality and the bible? I believe that God's ways are higher than our ways and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. I have studied for many years on the subject. I know my spirit and my walk. I cannot speak for others.

Do you ever feel the weight of sin in other area's of life that you have to repent of?

No. I've been quite honest with God and the people around me.

Jeff,

I assume you are homosexual and I will not judge you, nor will I say you are not welcome in my church, but to change the word of God to suit your lifestyle is not an option. Your option is to repent, accept God's forgiveness, and walk in the newness of life.

I have, and have had, many friends who were, or are homosexuals and I love them dearly and wish I could help them with the pain they feel - it is not unlike the pain I feel over some of the things I struggle with.

Like Paul who had a thorn in his flesh God would not heal him of...God declares that his grace is sufficient. That means for me, for you, and all those who struggle with 'issues' that God does not deliver them from.

Blessings, Rhoni
