The words "carnal" and "Sis. Alvear" just don't seem to go together.
They are mutually exclusive. Even if going to a carnival might seem "carnal," somehow Sis. Alvear and her "kids" sanctified that and made it a wholesome, spiritual experience. |
It seems Selmer. Her husband pastors...a small church but very sweet people.
|
I think I met them, Sis. Alvear. Is she a social worker or work in a similar capacity?
|
Well, I would never take my kids to carnaval...it was just a few rides that some traveling group sit up next to the supermarket...I really don't think any Americans would have rode they were old and run down...but it will be a never forget for my SS kids...they all thanked me over and over and their parents came and thanked me for caring...these kids will mostly never have much a chance in life...they worshipped so good in church tonight and sang for the mothers...so touching. I deeply love them and see in them tomorrows leaders.

I don't think I know them. Selmer UPC, maybe? |
Yes, I believe she is...Once I was at their church and the car I was driving had slick tires although I said nothing when I awoke the next morning there was a blank check under my door with a note for me to go buy tires...
They are very kind people... |
