Charles Mahaney Family-Please Pray- RonB
I just recieved word that Bro Charles Mahainey UPCI Prison Ministry Coordinator has been rushed to hospital.
Don't know all the details but it seems his veins are collapsing and his arteries are shutting down. They are saying he will not make it short of a miracle. They have been working on him for the last 2 1/2 hours without success. God Bless! Ron:praying |

this is what his son said: Bro Mahaneys kidneys shut down. They wanted to do dialysis, but could not find a vein. He is in ICU. That is all the info we have at the time. The doctors are not telling the family anything but they do not expect him to make it.

If they can not put in a main line into his Jugular (last resort) then it is as serious as it sounds. |
he was here last weekend and said he didnt feel well. i asked him how he felt, he didnt look 100%, he said he felt OLD! lol then he went on and made a joke. our pastor tried to get him to go to the dr, but he would not.
they can not give him meds because his veins are closing in. he isnt doing good at all. |

I will pray..... |
UPDATE:
He is bleeding in his stomach. they are having to give him blood. i assume they got a vein, he has IV's and all that. His blood pressure is getting back up. Things are looking better......but he is still very critical and they are still saying he needs a miracle to make it. |

From today's email
Brethren, Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus! The company of the United Pentecostal Church is still mourning the unexpected death of our dear comrade Evangelist Charles Mahaney. Pastors, friends and saints all over the world also are left stunned by his sudden passing. His friendship, team spirit, and love for the Gospel were contagious beyond compare. For 34 years Evangelist Charley Mahaney preached crusades, revivals and seminars. He raised thousands of dollars for churches, departments and local ministries all over the United States. He led the Prison ministry for the United Pentecostal Church faithfully directing thousands to a true gospel experience of salvation behind prison walls. Bro. Mahaney's sudden passing has left an important void for his family. Sis. Mahaney or "Lucky" as he liked to call her is in need of your love and support. Bro. Mahaney's investment of his life in the work of the kingdom of the Lord Jesus was a great sacrifice. In response to financial realities that Sis. Mahaney faces, the Evangelist ministry of the General Home Missions Division has partnered with the Arkansas District to assist with the financial burden after our friend's death. "Charley" was the sole financial support for his family and now his support is gone. Simply put, there is no savings, retirement, 401k or annuities to draw on. I join the team at Home Missions in asking you to join us as we bear Sis. Mahaney's financial burden. At Bro. Mahaney's funeral it was suggested that pastors who had been blessed by his ministry contribute the equivalent of one week of revival pay for Sister Mahaney. Already the General Home Missions Division, Spanish Evangelism and Multicultural Ministry have contributed. Many brought offerings to the funeral. Your contributions should be sent to: ArkansasDistrict UPC / c/o Aubrey Jayroe - Mahaney Funeral Fund PO Box 250 Redfield, AR 72132 May the Lord bless you for your concern and support of our friend's widow.
