Its about 1 AM Tuesday and I'm back on American soil. My missionary trip into the wilds of Hoosierland is behind me. Came thru a pretty good snowstorm in Kentucky. It' s long way to Martinsville, IN. Glad to be back home! Enjoyed talking with Bro. Scott Hutchinson today and am looking forward to meeting him sometime soon. GBY. Appreciate the prayers... and the peace sign.

Thanks, Mark. Glad to be home. Have to get use to this big ol' empty house, but as they say, "Theres no place like home". I understood Bro. Scott just fine. "Course, we both live in Alabama so...that makes things easier. Alabamians have a language all their own. We allow others to understand us only when we WANT them to understand us. People from California will never, ever understand.

Yes, they do. And... like people in Alabama, Tennesseeeans understand what CAPITAL LETTERS and punctuation is for. Notice at least one Californian we all know ( and love) hasn't quite grasped that yet?

I love brother One Accord. He is a kind gentle soul possessing great wisdom. I've greieved much over his loss but God has great things in his future. The sun still shines bright just beyond the dark cloud soon to be passed by.

Thank you Apprehended for those words. Hope I live up to them one day. As far as "great wisdom"....NOT! I decided at the last minute to ride with my brother to Indiana where he bought a new house. We left here Sunday morning where it was in the 50's. When we got there late Sunday nite, it was about 7 degrees! Of course, I didn't dress for an excursion into the frozen tundra. We left there Monday afternoon, went through a nice little snow storm (the only snow I'll see this year and it was dark), and got home at 1AM this morning. It was about 60 degrees when I got home.

He bought a nice house with a guest cottage on a lake. He asked me about moving into the cottage. Yeah right... the "great wisdom" I hope to attain one day tells me to stay right where I am.

I actually have two brothers now in Martinsville. (Why Martinsville, I have no idea). One worked in Indy for several years and now works for an airline in Dallas,TX. He still lives in Martinsville. The other brother loves it up there and bought a really nice (but COLD) place there. Log house with cottage overlooking a lake. I held a revival years ago in Martinsville, but can't recall the pastor/church name. We all grew up in Indiana (Jeffersonville), but I have been in the south so long that when the temp goes below 30, I go into hyber mode.
