Conservatives That I Have Come to Admire on AFF!

From a world view, Apostolics in general are very conservative. That being said, I understand that I am considered a "liberal" within this conservative camp. My friends outside of church, and co-workers consider me very conservative and religious. This forum allows me to let my hair down to my fellow Apostolic freinds and enjoy being call a liberal. :lol

Here are five Apostolic conservatives that post or have posted on AFF that I have come to really respect and admire. At the top of the list are a couple of ultra-cons.

Steve Epley - consistant, honest, even-tempered, friendly, and is a Christian.

Rhymis - consistant, witty, even-tempered, friendly, is a Christian, doesn't post enough! (You're honest too!:D)

Coonskinner - consistant, down-to-earth witt, presents the conservative viewpoint very well and understandable, friendly, lots of patience, an all-around good guy and Christian.

Steadfast - consistant, great thinker and poster, has patience, is a Christian.

Phil Jones - consistant, friendly (to me), one of the good guys as far as I'm concerned, good debater, sincere, is a Christian.

All of the above have virtues that I value highly:

1. consistancy
2. friendly
3. sincere
4. Christian

I'm sure I'm missing other conservatives who should also be on this pedestal.

Who are some conservatives that YOU admire on AFF?

PJ is pseudo-con ... in my opinion. He is more of a moderate. He enjoys playing the con role, I think.

With all the Conservatives leaving won't the moderates become the NeoCons?

Scott is one of my favorite conservatives. And Ron also.

There are others, but most of them have already been named

I think Philjones is balanced...

I appreciate quite a few on this forum.. I wouldn't dare start naming names.
But IF I were to start a LIST (which I would NEVER do ;) )..
I would have to say.. top of the list would have to be...

RevDWW

(and that's so he wouldn't whine ;) )

:toofunny

But really, I think I should be at the top.

Sister Margie3 I don't know exactly how I am to be labeled as I more liberal than others and more conservative than some here.
My theology is basically Classical Pentecostal but on some things I'm not as hard on as some others are.
I'm more concerned with being pleasing to God and being a Christian than I am trying to fit into someone's mold.

I do believe in a balance I don't believe in legalism, but I don't believe in anything goes either.
But to me it's frustrating to try to fit into a box.

Sis Norris gave an interesting lesson on the efforts to all be the same. She quoted from a poem/song?.....

And they're all made out of ticky-tacky
And they all look just the same.

If we're all the same...how boring.

BTW, I agree with the lists of worthy cons.

I disagree with Epley on Jewelry and Divorce but I always ALWAYS admired him for his consistency. He was more consistent than most Cons and Ultra Cons ever.

The AFF press is holding credible evidence (with photos) that you wore a t-shirt last summer during a lawn mowing session.
