Are you an avid music listener

I was just thinking that I don't do anything without music!

When I get in my car, putting in a cd is a natural as turning the car on. When I sit down at my computer I have music on. When I clean, music is jammin'. About the only time I don't have music is when I am going to bed, but that is because my husband doesn't like to listen to anything while sleeping!

My music changes with my mood or with the work I am doing! I have playlist made for different activities!

I know a person who hardly ever listens to anything. They told me they don't listen to music in the car of around the house.... I was totally shocked because music is as a part of me as eating or breathing! If I am not listening to music, then I am playing it myself!

So, how are you with music?

I can't imagine NOT having music playing. There's always music playing in my house. When I'm working on the computer, I usually have something on Live365.com playing. When I'm not listening to music, I have something from oneplace.com on the computer. (Enduring Truth with Paul Sheppard is one of my favs to listen to during the time I'm working online) When I'm out driving, there has to be music. If I can't pick up a decent christian radio station, I sing. LOL

My teenagers leave a radio or CD playing on repeat overnight when we're all sleeping. Something about waking up to Christian music helps everyone wake up in better moods.

I'm heading over to the church today to help the church secretary catch up on some things... so I'm putting a radio in the car in case she doesn't have one there. :D

I enjoy live365 for their smooth jazz (christian) and having younger children, we listen to oneplace alot for odyssey and paws and tales and others! But we have something going all of the time.... I have been know to bring a radio with me when the car had no music player.... If our cd player broke, that would be reason enough to get a new car!!! :)

My husband would agree with you about Kenny G. I don't think it's jazz either. I consider it more to be easy listening...My husband doesn't thinks it's music...

I enjoy jazz mostly with out the singing.... I like listening to Dave Koz, Candy Dulfer, Sanborn.....

I love music!!!! BUT, right now I have silence and only a barely audible noise coming from the ceiling fan. I want total quiet today!

Jazz- America's classical music and most don't even have an idea what it's about.

I play the radio most of the time when I'm driving if I'm by myself.

That's about it.

about the only time we don't have music going on is when there a several of us together going somewhere.... but even then, I think the music is in the background....

we also have such a variety in our music library... We can go from Hezekiah Walker to Clint Brown. From Selah to Casting Crowns. Then we would even switch to Tony Bennet or Frank Sinatra...... One of my five year old's favorite pieces of music is The Turkish Rhondo by Mozart! We have such a variety of music... I love it!

I will say that I think the Crabb family is about as country as we go....that is our limit...and then, only 2 or 3 of their songs do we like.

I used to listen to more music. But then MP3 player quit working and my 4 yr. old stuck a quarter in the CD player in my car. Now I just kinda think alot when I'm driving. Unless I'm in my wife's car, then I listen cuz her CD player still works. But it's rare I'm in her car cuz I hate it so much. It drives like a dump truck. But she likes it. Whatever.

I don't listen to much Christian music anymore though.

For most of my years in the UPC I listened to nothing but Christian music. After I left, I found myself wanting to broaded my musical horizons, but not really connecting to the stuff they play on the radio.

An online friend of mine (I think you know him ;) ) took it as his personal duty to educate me about the world of Indie music, a journey that has been great fun!
