Off subject, but if you get the chance you should visit East Texas and fish at our world famous bass lake. Lake Fork, about 20 minutes from Mineola. :)

Alaska is, by far, the most beautiful place on this planet that I've ever seen. I've been in the dead of winter (January) and late spring (May). An amazing testament to the beauty of God's creation.

We went skiing in Colorado last January (07). I loved the beauty up there. My next big vacation is going to be to the Pacific Northwest.

I'll keep that in mind.

I'm originally from Lake Charles, Louisiana (Southwest Louisiana) and I was in East Texas quite often back in the day.

You can always tell a Texan, but you can't tell 'em much.

Just whatever you do, don't eat any Bear meat. I did!!! :reaction Awful! I'm from south Louisiana originally and we eat anything from Crawfish, Gator, Frogs, Turtles, Oysters, etc, but that was horrible! The Moose meat is good, but stay away from Bear if anyone were to offer it to you.

I have never been out of the good ole US of A. So I intend to remedy that in the next little bit. My cousin (independent Oneness preacher) married a Filipino a few years back and they go on missions trips there a couple of times a year. He's wanting me to go with him soon and I think I'm going to.

My daughter must live in Costa Rica for a semester as she studies for her Spanish education degree. I imagine I will make a trip there in the next couple of years as well.
