Anyone going to the Mile High Conference?
 

I will probably be there tomorrow night. Anyone else going? I never have heard Brother Talmadge preach, I want to see if he really believes the book of Romans should not be taken seriously...oh yea and to get a blessing, and to worship and all that... :D

I don't know Talmadge but I know the Pastor's of the church that holds it every year. Have nothing but respect for them and their church.
oddly enough I have never been to one of their meetings. Know many that go and many that speak at it but never been myself.

Their church is a really good church. The people love God and their pastors. I think they would take their own lives if the ministry asked them too. They are that dedicated to them. Yet they are not like many of that crowd that DEMAND the respect and honor, even though most do not deserve it.

I have not been part of that group for almost 20 years now. When I was younger and in it maybe he just wasn't as bad the others I knew. =)

I used to go there for church for a little while. Then we moved to Colorado Springs. Their Heritage Youth conference blows Mile High out of the water.......did anyone go?? Or does anyone even know of it? lol.

I barely know about the Mile High Conference. My brother attended there he is the one who told me about it.

Talmadge French wrote an article in a UPC pub that goes out to only preachers wherein he delicately suggested that the book of Romans was more of a minor book and that it may or may not be part of a cannon that should have been included in the final version of the bible. He didn't come right out and say it, he just presented evidence for his suggestion, in a we report you decide kind of thing. I wish I could remember the exact wording.

That was in the 'Foward'? Wow! Wish I could have read it. If that is true he is standing on VERY thin ice- IMO-

My former pastor used to preach at the conference. His daughter is married to the pastor.

Carp, Is the the host church courting WPF preachers now? Or have they themselves "joined" the spawning of the new Apostolic Conservatives?
