Financial Testimony

I recently was privileged to help three different individuals who were in a bind (two on here; one single mom at our church). I love to sow when I feel like it's good ground! I just received a blessing from the Lord that was totally unexpected and it far exceeds what I gave out over the past month or so. God is so good; you really cannot outgive Him!!

Just had to share some good financial news, in the midst of all the bad stuff about the economy. God is still my source!

He really is...I keep being reminded of this right now too.

I'm so very glad that you've been blessed. :)

Luk 6:38 Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again.

Its good to hear a liitle GOOD financial news for a change. Notice the above verse: "...shall men give into your bosom"

I was able to provide a little assistance to someone recently and, this past week, God did it again.

From a totally unexpected source: 165.00

And I was able to buy about 3000.00 worth of antique furniture for 300.00.

My mom learned this lesson in a big way one year. Maybe I've told you this before............

She and my dad were poor. Always have been. So one year my dad got a turkey from work just before Thanksgiving. Mom put it in the freezer to save for the holiday. Then someone else brought her another turkey. So she gave that one to another family she knew who was in need at the time. She couldn't see having two when someone else needed one. The next day or so someone else brought her groceries and TWO turkeys! She shared those turkeys with other people she knew needed them. And wouldn't you know........a couple days later my cousin called and said that their food bank at their church had made up more baskets for Thanksgiving than they had names to give them to, so would Mom mind taking one? She said sure. And Eileen brought her out FOUR!! Four baskets of food and FOUR TURKEYS!!

She threw her hands up in the air and said, "ok, God, I give up! I've learned. I cannot outgive you!" LOL!!!

It really is, Esther. All of us learned a big lesson in that one!

My mom was not a Christian when I was growing up, so this was a huge lesson for her :)

Re: Financial Testimony

Received a blessing financial blessing for my orphange friday night. INSP. Network was having their annual fall campmeeting/telethon. Paul Morton the guest speaker I was the guest singer. Before it started I was sitting in the makeup room getting my makeup done when the Pres. David Cerillo came in and sat in the other chair. He said" What's been happening Vicki". I said" do you really want to hear it?" I began to share about my orphange in Uganda, I shared that my monthly budget was 15,000.00. He listened to everything I said, it was about 15 min. He loved the whole concept that God had given me.
Later on the program after I sang, he went over to the map and said they just went on in Africa ,now they are in 120 countries.
He shared with the audience that he was talking with VY in the makeup room and she was sharing about her orphange and her budget. I want INSP. to sow into this orphange 15.000.00 tonight... I cried tears of JOY. This orphange has been steps of faith all the way. :)
