After the Santorini video I posted Tiff said NO more.

For her, I refrain.

For you, "How long can you tread water, when you are 600 miles from nowhere?"

I have hope that I will again ride the seas on a cruise of my choice!!!!!

well, seeing as how it's been discussed on more than on occasion, and the attendees are posters here.....

some of us do "care"

not so much that we arent scrambling for photos of sinking ships or stories of illness while traveling - that kind of thing...

but people care...much like they do when another poster is looking for a job, starting a new job, has car trouble...those kinds of things.

I know you werent being rude - but I just wanted to answer that someone cares:winkgrin

I am probably the only one here who ISN'T jealous. I am extemely claustrophobic, so a cruise sounds more like a part of hell then a pleasure trip. So I say, Better you than me!!! :friend

Thats because you have never been....it is totally NOT claustrphobic.....quite the opposite....unless you are in a little cabin like Dan is in....I told em inside was wayyyy better then an outside one.....no not really...but in all reality a good cabin...you will not feel closed in....

DUH!

That's not what I meant. My wife and I will celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary this year. WE are looking to do something special for it.. Several say take a cruise. We are wondering what we would do on one. We don't go to shows, gamble and such like. So what would there for an Apostolic to do?

Well to start with......we stay away from holier than thous.......:D :D :D

Maybe you should ask some of your good brethern over on CAF....they are planning one....or the great late elder westberg....he was enjoying a cruise when the Lord called him home.....It is like going to the mall......or Nashville to the Grand Ol Opery Hotel....it is all in what you desire to see and do.....

After a few days in that dark passageway with that 40 sq ft room, a Miata will feel like a Limo.

A cherokee will seem like a Hummer.

And no chance of sunburn 12 decks below the water level.

But what a "deal" he purchased......

Well, I kinda freak out when there are lots of people around too. I actually have lots of phobias. Cities, traffic (interstates in big cities especially!), elevators, the ocean (another reason why I wouldn't go on a cruise...lol), crowds...

I jokingly say that in another 10 years I probably won't leave my house!

Is there anything to do besides eat. What other kind of activity is there?

Theresa 04-17-2007 02:55 PM

Just so y'all know - here's their "cruise" ship...
