Well this is the Apostle to the Amarillo Fellowship Church.

The Pastor is accountable to Bob Shafer.

Although they are a Trinity affiliation they seem to have a Oneness Covering.

I asked today if I can baptize my kids in Jesus name.

No reply yet, but they do want me to play the Bass.

My decision to play the bass will be decided if they will let me baptize my kids in the name of Jesus.

Of course I can baptize them any where any time....I just want it to be special.

Coop,

How can you discern if this guy is oneness, did he tell you, because from his website you can tell him apart from his statement of faith.

Look I don't think one has to embrace the culture of the mainstream Pentecostal movement in order to be saved or to grow, but find a church that preaches the main and the plain doctrine ofthe Apostles.

That might mean you have to get rid of some of your junk in your heart. But the day is dawning when you will need people of like precious faith!

Oneness covering? Is that like having Van Halen open for Sabbath or something? What does that mean?

BTW I have some friends attending an AOG in Northern Cal and the Pastor has agreed to baptize her two youngest in Jesus name

We believe in the Eternal Godhead who has revealed Himself as ONE god existing in THREE persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit; distinguishable but undividalbe (Matthew 28:19, II Corinthians 13-14)

We believe in the necessity of water baptism by immersion in the name of the Eternal Godhead in order to fullfill the command of Christ (Matthew 28; 19; Acts 2:34-36; 19:1-6)

If he is Ex-UPC like the Pastors wife said at Amarillo Fellowship.....He still sounds oneness....and Jesus name in baptism.:nod

He himself may not have written the statement of faith.

It would be nice to see apostolics get the junk out of their doctrines.

And keep it main and plain! Amen.......hello?.....is this mic on?
